Chapter 28

Park Areum's POV
"I already did." I looked at him in shock. "What? Are you playing a prank on me or something?" I asked. He just smiled slightly before saying. "Yeah I was.. You fell for it didn't you?" He said while letting out a small chuckle. I just rolled my eyes and continued eating my ice cream.

Park Bo Gum's POV
"What? Are you playing a prank on me or something?" Areum asked. I knew it... She would just think I'm just playing a prank on her... I just gave her a small smile before saying, "Yeah I was.. You fell for it didn't you?" I said while letting out a small chuckle. I guess today's not the right time to confess what I feel for you... "So when do I meet this girl you're crushing on?" She suddenly asked, her eyes focused on the movie. "You'll meet her someday.." I said. She just nodded her head in response. "Hey Bo Gum.." Areum started. I hummed in response. "Why did you come back? I mean, it's not like I don't want you here but I thought you'll be staying in the U.S. for good.." She said. "Well, it's actually nice to live there but.. My life is here in Korea.. Besides, I wouldn't want to leave my precious princess." I said and gave her a playful wink. She rolled her eyes playfully and smacked my arm. "Yah! Why did you do that? I'm your oppa!" I said playfully trying to hide my smile. "Oh don't start with me Park Bo Gum." She said and shoved a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth. Aish... If you only knew how much I love you...

And as usual, Areum fell asleep in the middle of the movie. Aish, this girl never finished a single movie. She always falls asleep. I looked at her sleeping face and smiled but that smile turned into a frown. "Why is it you're so close yet so far?" I said softly while caressing her hair. "When will you notice me Areum? When will you notice that you're the girl I'm talking about?" I continued. I sighed and carried her to her bedroom. I gently placed her on the bed and admired her sleeping face. "Goodnight my princess... I love you.." I softly said and kissed her on her forehead. I stood up and fixed her blanket and walked out of the door. I looked at her one last time before closing the door. As I was about to walk away, I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my chest. I leaned on the wall while holding my chest. Soon, the pain went away, I took a deep breath and left Areum's house.

The Next Day..
Park Areum's POV
As usual, I woke up from the sound of my alarm. I got off from my bed and did my morning routine. Today was a half day since today is the second Friday, teachers will be having their meeting. Once I was finished, I went to school.

As I entered, I was greeted by BTS "Annyeong!!" "Annyeong~" I greeted back. Then our homeroom teacher went inside the room. Before we could greet her, she spoke. "Class, I have two announcements. One, we won't be having classes today since we have an important meeting. Our important meeting is about this second announcement. So the second announcement is, you'll be having your prom on Friday, which is next week, so go and choose your partners. That would be all thank you. Now please excuse me, I have to attend the meeting." Ms. Han said and went out of the classroom. The girls started squealing while I just practically rolled my eyes.  On the other hand, I noticed Jungkook and V were glaring at each other. Now what's their problem again? Ugh. Boys.. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder, it turns out that it was Jimin. I smiled a bit. "Ummm Areum..."

Park Jimin's POV
Once Ms. Han announced that we'll be having a prom, V and Jungkook started bickering and glaring at each other but enough to not to catch everyone's attention. They're fighting over who gets to be partners with Areum. I guess this is my chance. I stood up from my seat and walked towards Areum and tapped her shoulder. She looked at me and smiled. "Ummm Areum..." I started. "What is it Jimin?" She asked. "W-well... I was wondering if you could be my date- I mean partner for the prom... But if you don't like it's fine with me, it's not-" Areum didn't let me finish my sentence and said. "It's okay Jimin. I wouldn't mind being your partner for the prom." She said and smiled. "R-really?" I asked. She chuckled and nodded. Areum-ah.. Why are you making me feel this? Why does my heart race whenever you smile or laugh? Why? What are you doing to me...
