Andy didn't seem to notice the shock in his parents and my eyes as he started to introduce them to me.

"Mom, Dad this is Adri-"

"Andy we know her."

"Wha- what?"

"We know Adrianna..."

"What? How? This is the first time I've brought her here to meet you guys."

"And-"

"Might as well just get it over with... th-their my birth parents." I said in small squeaky voice.

Realization slapped Andy in the face as he heard what I said. Andy looked back and forth between his/our parents and me. I felt like curling up into a ball everytime Andy would turn and face me. The look in Andy's eye made me feel like I should have kept my mouth shut and let his parents explain.

"Maybe I should leave..." I suggested in a hoarse voice.

"No no no, we need to talk about this." Amy said while gesturing towards us to sit down.

"I really don't want to talk about it." I said in an unsure voice while stepping away.

"Ade don't leave, please. We really should talk about this, as a family." Andy said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the couch.

"Family? Really? You got to be fucking kidding me. You guys aren't my family. Chris and Amy gave me up because some idiotic doctor told them I was going to have problems either physically or mentally. What kind of "family" does that?"

"Adrianna please just hear us out." Chris pleaded.

"Why? Why should I have to sit here and listen to your poor excuses again?!"

"Wait what do you mean 'again'?" Andy asked.

"Andy honey, we went and visited your sis- Adrianna a few weeks ago to talk about what happened and try to reason with her. We want her back. Ever since we gave her up we knew it was a mistake but there was nothing we could do, the minute we gave her up someone started fostering her."

"Yeah and you know what they did to me? Put me through? You have no idea the pain I had to endure because you abandoned me!"

"Adrianna look we didn't want to leave you, but with Andy and everything it was hard. We didn't have enough money to be able to help you if you needed treatments and such. We could raise a normal baby just fine but we couldn't raise one that needed medical attention and such."

"So because I wasn't going to be perfect like Andy and no trouble at all you didn't want to deal with me? Wow you guys deserve the parents of the year award." I said while getting up and practically running out of their house.

"Adrianna wait, don't leave." Andy pleaded.

I ran down the street holding back tears until I saw an empty Park not to far away. I sprinted until I got there and leaped onto the first bench I saw and bawled my eyes out. In a matter of minutes I saw Andy's
lengthy figure running towards me. As soon as he got there and saw the tears in my eyes he wrapped his arms around me and rocked me back and forth almost as if I was a baby. After what seemed like hours I finally calmed down enough to talk to him. I sat up straight no longer leaning on Andy, and put my legs on his lap. I had his full attention.
"Andy..."

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry about the way I acted..."

"You have every right to be pissed at them."

"I know but I should have been civil about the way I acted."

"If it's any consolation I would have acted the same way and I may have yelled at them before I left to come find you."

"Wait what? You yelled at them?"

"Ade they really pushed me this time. They pretty much lied to me my whole life."

"How? All they did was withold the fact that you have a little sister..."

"Witholding the truth is the same thing as lying."

"I guess, but I don't want to cause problems with you and your parents Andy. I'm not worth losing your family over."

"You are family."

"I guess..."

"There's no guessing about it. You share the same DNA as I do."

"I know."

"Then you should have no doubt that we're family. Whether you like it or not you're stuck with me now. Forever."

"Thanks Andy."

"Welcome little sister."
