Chapter 26

Andy drove to a cute little restaurant just outside of town. He parked close to the entrance and parked.

"Hey Ade so the reservation is at 5:45 so we're gunna have to wait a little."

"Alright sounds good to me."

"Soooo."

"Haha so."

"Sorry this is so awkward."

"It's fine haha."

"So what were your other dates like?"

"I've actually never been on one..."

"Wait really?"

"Yeah..."

"Well now I feel lucky."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm your first."

"Haha yeah..."

"Hey we should go in."

"Alright."

Andy got out quickly as I bent down to fix my flats. When I sat up he was opening my door for me with a huge grin on his face. I got out and he immediately grabbed my hand, sending shivers down my spine. I felt my face flush and my hands started to sweat. He didn't seem to notice or care.

When we walked into the restaurant I realized how many people here were dressed all fancy and stuff.

"Andy I thoughy you said not to dress fancy." I whispered.

"Yeah so?"

"Look around." I said while my eyes scanned around the room.

"Oh. Don't worry about it."

"Now I feel like an outcast."

"You aren't, you're beautiful okay?" He reassured.

"Okay."

He gave my hand a little squeeze as a woman asked his name for the registration.

"My name is Robert McCullen." He stated.

"Okay Robert right this way."

"Thank you." He looks at me pleadingly.

"What the fuck?" I whisper to myself.

The lady shows us to our seats and passes us both menus.

"What to drink?"

"Um just give me a Coke."

"And you?" She asks kind of rudely.

"Um just a tea is fine."

"Okay. Are you ready to order?"

"Can we have a minute?"

"Take as much time as you need Mr. McCullen."

"Thank you."

"Welcome sugar." She says as she walks away. I see her turn around and wink at him.

I rolled my eyes and Andy seemed to notice.

"What?"

"She winked at you."

"When?"

"When she walked away."

"Jealous much?"

"No."

"Mmkay."

"Anyways what the hell 'Robert'?"
