After school Andy picked me up at the usual spot and drove me to his house. Andy seemed agitated the whole drive there and while I was finishing my portrait of him. I couldn't help but feel hurt because of the way he was acting.

I finished my portrait within an hour of being at his house. He was relieved until we went down stairs and Amy asked me to stay for dinner. Just to pissed Andy off even more I agreed. I'm sick of the way he's acting towards me just because I don't wanna involve the law in my problems with the teacher and principal.

Dinner rolled around quickly after, and Andy was even more agitated than before.

"Andy honey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing mom, I'm fine." He said while glaring at me.

"I don't believe you."

"Why?"

"Because you're glaring at Ade like you want her gone."

"Maybe I do." And with that one statement I felt my heart shatter.

"Andrew! Why would you say that about your sister? How rude."

"I have a justified reason."

"Talk, now!"

"Mmm, no." That's when I decided to intervene.

"Look Amy today at school my teacher started questioning me about why Andy and I don't live together and he never mentioned he had sister. I ended up getting fairly mad and gave her sass. I was sent to the principals office where he said that she had every right to question me like she did. I got pissed and walked out."

"Why would Andy care?"

"Because mom, Ade never should have been made to answer questions she didn't want to answer."

"Then why are you acting like you hate her?"

"Because she doesn't want to do anything about."

"What do you want to do about it?"

"I want to get them both fired and sue them."

"Well I can see why, I would want to too."

"Well she doesn't."

"Why?"

"Because it's not a big deal. And besides the minute the judge looks at me he'll just see some poor little kid who has no parents and isn't wanted by anyone. And never was."

"Ade honey, you know that's not true."

"No it is."

"Why do you think that?"

"Because that's how every adult sees me."

"Oh..."

"Yep."

What's the point in involving anyone who's just going to see me as a poor kid who's family couldn't bother taking care of them and left them. Andy got up from the table and put his plate in the sink. I decided it was time for me to go home when I finished my food, seeing as how awkward it was now and I'd already finished my project. During the car ride home I decided to confront Andy.

"Are you just never going to talk to me again?"

"What?" He said while turning down the radio.

"Never mind."

"No seriously tell me."

"No, you wouldn't bother to listen the first time."

"I'm sorry, but the radio was on. I couldn't hear you."

"Whatever."

"What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing."

"Tell me."

"I wouldn't want to bother you."

"God damnit Adrianna." He said while pulling over onto the side of the road in a swift motion.

"What?"

"Quit cocking that attitude at me!"

"Why? Does it bother you?"

"Yes actually it does. Now stop."

"Fine. How about I stop speaking to you just like you did to me."

"Why must you be like this?"

And just like that we didn't talk the whole ride home. I didn't say goodbye or anything.

A/N
Oh my god, please don't hate me I completely forgot to write more. I know it was short, I'm sorry. But just a heads up I'm going back and editing my other chapters. I'm just making spaces between characters talking just so it's less confusing. Thank you for reading.
