Chapter 38

Valentine's Day
Ade's POV

I awoke to the sound of my alarm blaring a horrendous sound, signaling it was time to get up. I groaned and finally rolled over to turn it off. I rubbed my eyes and looked over at Andy whose face looked like he was disgusted and sad. I giggled to myself and got out of bed revealing my pink thong with a bow, and my bare upper body. I grabbed one Andy's shirt off the floor and slipped it on.

I slid into my desk and pulled open my laptop. I checked my email to see if any of my teacher's had anything to say to me. My English teacher was the only one. She sent me a reminder that my paper on Edgar Allen Poe was due later today. I sighed and opened Google docs. I had barely even started the paper because I didn't know what to say, other than he was sick and twisted, and married his 14 year old cousin. I clicked on the add tab button and started researching him. I decided to choose a poem to pull evidence from about him being sick and twisted.

Andy's POV

When I woke up I saw Ade sitting at her desk working on a paper. She looked beautiful, my shirt looked a little big on her tiny body and she was wearing my favorite thong with no pants. I decided to get up and see if she wanted a coffee or tea. I walked up her and wrapped my arm around her shoulder and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning angel." I whispered in her ear.

"Good morning handsome." She whispered back.

"I'm gonna go downstairs, do you need anything?"

"Um well I'm hungry and warm tea sounds really good right now."

"Okay baby."

"Thank you babe."

"Of course sweet heart."

I walk down the creaky steps that were freezing. As soon as I got down there I saw Grace sleeping on the couch. I gave her a quick little shake, which woke her right up.

"Andy? What the hell?"

"Do you want any breakfast?"

"Ummm sure. Can I have yogurt and tea?"

"Why does everyone want tea today?" I chuckle.

"I don't know. Wake me up when you're done."

"Okay."

I quickly made tea for Ade and Grace. While it was warming up I grabbed two yogurts and added nuts to them, like a parfait. There was already warm coffee made, I shrugged and poured some in a black mug. When the girls teas were done I carried Graces stuff out to the living room and put it on the ottoman that was in front of the couch. I shook her awake and she thanked me for the food. I scurried back to the kitchen and grabbed Ade's and mine stuff. I hurried up the stairs and to her room.

When I got there I could tell she was severely stressed. When she started eating I gave her a shoulder rub.

"Thanks baby." She said with a mouth full of yogurt.

"Of course my sweet angel."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Ugh this paper."

"Edgar Allen Poe?"

"Mhm."

"Yikes."

"Yeah."

"Can I read it?"

"I'm almost done. When I finish you can."

"Do you want me to edit it to?"

"Yes please."

"Okay sweetie."

Ade started typing again and I continued to massage her. She was so tense and I felt so bad. She wasn't suppose to stress today.

Ade finished after another hour of typing. I read over her work and made a few revisions for her. When I turned to tell her I was done she was asleep. I kissed her forehead and turned the paper in for her. I decided right now would be the best time to run and get her present.

I drove to a nearby store to get her roses and a card. When I entered the store all I saw was men buying last minute gifts for their girlfriends. I walked over to the floral area and talked to a woman who was working.

"Hi I ordered roses a couple days ago."

"Name please."

"Andy Biersack."

"I'll be right back."

When the girl came back she looked stunned. "Lucky girl." She said while looking at the picture in my wallet of Ade.

"She sure is.... Scout." I say while looking at her name badge.

"That's my name haha."

"It's pretty."

"Thank you."

"Alright how much do I owe?"

"Um let's see, $53.49 please."

"Seriously they couldn't round it up to 50 cents?" I chuckle.

"Haha I feel you."

"Here you go, keep the change."

"Thank you, have a nice day."

"You too, happy valentine's day."

"Happy valentine's day, oh and hope she enjoys the flowers!"

"Thank you." I say while walking out of the store. I drive halfway to Ade's house before I realise I completely forgot to get a card. I quickly make an illegal U-turn and head back to the store.

"Forget something?" Scout says as I enter the store again.

"Actually yeah, I forgot a card."

"Oh well they're over there." She says while pointing to a nearby shelf.

"Thanks."

I walk over the shelf and all I see are cards with corny sayings on them. I think to myself Goddamnit why is this so hard?. I decided to ask Scout for help since she's a girl.

"Hey Scout can you help with this?"

"Yes of course. What do you need?"

"Um I need help choosing a card."

"Hm okay."

She looked around for a good five minutes before handing me a card that says "I love you to the moon and back. Happy Valentine's Day." It had a moon drawn on it with a rose in the moons mouth.

"Thank you so much ."

"Of course."

"You're a life saver."

"I guess haha." She says as she rings up the card and I pay for it.

When I get to Ade's house I ask Grace for help right away as we set up the kitchen table with her presents.

I decide to go wake Ade up so she can retrieve her presents. When I get in her room I immediately grab her camera off of her desk.

"Ade baby wake up, there's a surprise for you downstairs."
