Chapter 25

Date Night

Me: Andy please tell me what we're doing! I have no clue what to wear):

Andy<3: I'll give you a hint. Wear a cute little dress. Not too fancy.

Me: Can I wear a skirt?

Andy<3: Yes.

Me: Yay.

Andy<3: hurry up and go get ready. I'll be there in an hour.

Me: Okay.

I throw my phone down and go scavenging through my closet. I find a cute flowy flower printed skirt, and a maroon long sleeve crop top, and my favorite black flats. (Picture above)

My makeup was simple yet perfect. I did natural colors for my eyelids. I added some winged eyeliner and made my eyelashes super long. My cheeks had blush on them, and I used some powder. I was done by 4:45. Grace sat there staring at me in amazement as I showed her how thrifty I've become with makeup. I heard a knock on the door at 4:55 and guessed it was Andy. I crept downstairs and found Mrs. Castro letting him in.

"C'mon in Andy."

"Thank you Mrs. Castro."

"You're welcome sugar."

Andy looked over at the stair case and saw me standing there looking at him.

"A-Ade you look beautiful."

"You look very handsome Andy." He was wearing dress pants and dark blue button up shirt. His sleeves were rolled up and damn he looked sexy.

"Aw Ade you look so pretty."

"Thank you Mrs. Castro." I giggled.

"Alright you kids should get going before you're late."

"Okay." I said.

Andy stuck his hand out for me to grab and I went down the last few steps. Andy held onto my hand as we walked out of my house and all the way to the car. He opened my door and held it for me while I got in. Andy ran over to his side and got in.

"Um I have a little present for you Ade." He said while pulling out a little box with a ribbon wrapped around it.

"You really didn't have too." I blushed after I said that.

"I wanted too." He grabbed my hand and opened it, he dropped the small little box in it. "Open it." He whispered.

"Okay." I whispered back. I undid the ribbon and opened the box. Inside was a charm bracelet with a single charm. The charm was a burger. There was a note under the bracelet. I pulled out the bracelet and told Andy to put it on for me. The note read "12-20-05 Our first date." I blushed as I read it.

"Do you like it?"

"Andy I-I love it."

"I'm glad."

He turned on the ignition and turned to me for a second admiring me. I blushed at the thought that he was checking me out. I placed my arm on his middle console and he grabbed my hand, fingers intertwined.

"Andy?"

"Yes?"

"Are you nervous?"

"Of course not. Why would you think that?"

"Because your sweaty palms say otherwise." I tease.

"Okay you got me."
