Chapter 28

Time skip to christmas

I awoke to Grace shrieking excitedly and shaking me vigorously.

"ADE WAKE UP! IT'S CHRISTMAS!"

I look over at the clock on my nightstand and see that it's 5:45 am.

"Grace it's so early."

"Get your lazy ass out of bed!"

She ripped my blankets off of me exposing me in my undies and my giant T-shirt.

"Cute panties but c'monnnn."

"Ugh Grace I really hate you sometimes."

"Mhm sure you do."

Grace grabbed my hand and practically dragged me out of bed. We crept down the stairs like little kids and looked at the beautifully lit tree. When we fully got down the stairs, to my surprise Andy was standing over by the couch holding a present. He had this cute little Santa hat on and a wide grin on his face. A huge smile spread across my face as he walked over and engulfed me in a hug. He whispered something in my ear.

"You look beautiful angel."

I looked down and realised I never put pants on. I felt my cheeks flush in embarassment. I folded my arms around my stomach and looked down at my feet, Andy pushed my chin up and kissed my forehead.

"Uh-hem." Grace said with her arms crossed.

"Oh um Grace this is Andy, Andy this is Grace."

"Hi Grace."

"Hi Andy."

"Sooo."

"I wanna open presents already!" Grace squealed.

"Okay, wait where's Mrs. Castro?"

"She's in the kitchen making cinnamon rolls." Andy says.

"Duh, she does that every year." Grace says rolling her eyes at me.

"I know, I just didn't know if she was awake. You haven't woken any of us up this early for Christmas since we were kids."

"True true."

"You better not have started without me!" Mrs. Castro yells as she walks out with several cinnamon rolls.

"Grace."

"Hm?"

"I just realised this is the first Christmas in a long time that we are the only kids in this house."

"Oh shit. I totally forgot."

"Grace language. And Ade yes, so that's why I decided to spoil you both."

"Present time!" Grace shrieks.

It took us three hours to get through presents because we take turns opening them so Mrs. Castro can get pictures. Andy seemed to enjoy watching me and Grace get excited over the stuff we got. When we were done Andy asked if he could take me outside.

"What's outside?" I ask.

"Well I still haven't let you open my present but only because I want to do it privately."

"Well then."

We walk outside to see that it's snowing and like the little girl I am, I run into the snow stick my tounge out. I feel Andy's arms wrap around my waist. I breathe in sharply and wrap my hands around his.

"So are you gunna give me my present yet?" I whisper to him.

"Do you want it?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

Andy hands me two boxes. A very little one and a medium one. I untie the bow on the medium box, and rip off the wrapping paper. Too my surprise it was a picture in a frame. The pictures was of Andy and me.

"When did you take this?"

"You don't remember?"

"No..."

"Oh well this was the second day of school. I had a camera with me and you weren't looking at first so I said your name and you looked up. I snapped the picture really quick. I don't think you noticed haha."

"Oh. Well it's cute."

"It's my favorite."

"Thank you."

"Open the other one."

I ripped the wrapping paper off of the tiny little box and opened it. Inside was a charm for my bracelet. It was in the shape of a heart with a lock attached to it. I felt my cheeks flush as I read the back "12-25-05 the day you became mine officially." I turned to look at him and he grabbed my face in his hands gently.

"Adrianna will you go out with me?"

I smiled and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. "Yes."

Andy pulled my face into his and brushed his lips against mine. I could feel his breath against my lips, he finally connected our lips and I swear I felt a million butterflies flutter in my stomach.

"I've been waiting to do that for a very long time."

"Me too."

"I'm glad you're finally mine."

"I'm glad you're finally mine too."

"Ade?"

"Yeah?"

"Kiss me again?"

"You don't have to ask."
