Emmah's POV
"Well of course, I want to go out with you." I excitedly answer to Alex. "good, because I was going to take you either way." He winks. I playfully hit him in the shoulder because of his last comment, he pretends that it hurts and he pouts his face at me. "Ok! instead of eating here, we are going out because we have like no food in the house." Jace yells into the kitchen. "I'm fine with that." I say and shrug my shoulders. I start trying to hop off the counter but before I can even try, Alex has me in his arms and setting me on the ground. I smile up at him, "your too good for me, how did I get so lucky to have you?". Alex kisses me and replies with," I'm just lucky I got to you before somebody else did." Jace walks into the kitchen, grabs the keys and walks out the front door, "better come outside if you guys want a ride and food.". I smile and run away from Alex to the car in the driveway and hop in. I sit in the backseat like I have been since Alex's been riding with us and he hops in the passenger seat. "where are we eating, I'm starving." I ask nobody in particular. "I want 'IHOP' so let's go there" Jace replies. Nobody objects to there so Alex starts the car and drives into town.
It's only a Tuesday morning so there isn't that many people eating today so we get sat down right away. The waitress takes all of our orders right away and skips back to the kitchen to place our ticket. "So, Jace. Alex and me are going on a date tonight, is that alright?" I finally say. "Well if I say no I know you'll still go out so yeah I guess it's alright." Jace replies unhappily. "You know me too well, haha. But thank you Jace." I reply laughing. The waitress comes back shortly after and brings are food with her. My stomach growls at the sight of the warm pancakes stacked on top of each other and I can barely wait for her to set my plate down before I spill syrup on them. I stuff my face with a huge chuck of pancake and I look up at the boys. They are mouth staring at me with mouths open and everything, "Damn girl, you can eat." Jace finally says. I roll my eyes at the two and continue eating my delicious pancakes, the boys finally stop staring at me and eat there food too. We don't talk much once the food arrives except for a random comment from Jace or Alex about how much I can fit in my mouth. I finish eating well before the boys do and slouch in my seat holding my very full tummy. "uhh, I ate too much." I groan while laying my head on Alex's shoulder. Alex chuckles and takes his late bite of food before wrapping his arms around me, "it's your own fault, your the one who ate all of that silly." He says. The waitress interrupts our conversation and gives us our bill. Alex pays for his own and Jace pays for me and himself, after we pay we go back to the car.
Jace starts the car and heads back towards home. "Hey, can you drop me off at home? I haven't really been home much this last few weeks, my mom keeps complaining about it." Alex asks Jace. "Yeah sure." Jace says almost happily. Alex turns his head to face me and says, "I can pick you up for our date tonight babe.". I feel my cheeks blush a bright shade of pink and I smile and look down at my hands. I have never actually been on a date before so I wonder how this night is supposed to go. Oh God, I don't even know what I'm going to wear tonight! I whip out my phone from my pocket and wildly text my friends Alaixces and Jaeden for help with tonight. They both say that they will be at my house as soon as possible, and I feel a little more relieved now. When we pull up to Alex's house, I realize I haven't been there since I came to work on the project with Andy. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Andy in a couple days. "Is Andy alright? I haven't seen him at school for a while." I ask Alex curiously. "He's been pretty sick for about a week, that's all." Alex says back to me. I nod my head back to him in understanding and get out if the car with him. Alex pulls me up against his chest by my hips and leans his forehead against mine. I put my hands on his chest, feeling his hard muscles underneath my hands. "You can feel more of that later tonight." Alex whispers to me seductively. I give him a small smile, "I can't wait then." I whisper in his ear. He title my chin up and gives me a small kiss and walks away to his front door. I blush once again and then hop back into the car, but this time I sit in the front seat next to Jace. He turns his head at me and gives me a questioning look. "what?" I finally ask him. "nothing." He says nonchalantly while starting the car again.
We arrive home shortly after and we see two cars in our driveway. "that must be Jaeden and Alaixces, here to help me." I say excitedly. "wasn't Alaixces the one that had a crush on me?" Jace asks worridely. I just give him a big smile in response. "great" Jace says, not bothering to hide the sarcasm in his voice. "be nice Jace, their my friends ok?" I ask him nicely. "fine." is all he says back. Jaeden and Alaixces get out of their car when they notice were home and wait for me to get out of the car. I hop out and run up to them excitedly since I haven't seen them in what feels like forever because I haven't been at school for a while. Jace walks past us and Alaixces turns bright red and gives him a shy wave. He nods his head at her and says 'hi' to both of them. "Ok, we got to get started right now if you want to be ready in time." Jaeden says with authority. I nod my head yes so we all follow Jace inside the house. "This is going to be so much fun!!" Alaixces says jumping up and down. "Oh my God like totally!" Jace screams mocking Alaixces excited tone. We all spit our tongues out at him and laugh too. "Lets vet this started." Jaeden says happily while taking out the stuff they brought. Oh, jeez.
