Emmah's POV
"Were going to the beach today!" Jace exclaims excitedly. "why?" I ask, I didn't mean for it to come off rudely but it did. Jace's face falls a little and asks, ""do you not want to go?" in a child like voice. "No I do want to go!" I tell him quickly, "I'll go put on my swimsuit under this, hold on." I say running back upstairs. I put my bikini underneath my clothes quickly and grab some towels for us all. I run back to the kitchen and see Jace already has his swim trunks in hand and an extra pair for Alex to borrow. "You ready to go?" Alex asks. I smile and nod my head and we all walk out to the car. It's about an hour drive from our house to the beach so we jam out to music and talk every once in a while. I sing really loud to the parts of the songs that I know and just mumble the rest until it gets to a part I know again. Alex turns his head around and laughs whenever I get really loud and turn to a mumble. I just spit my tongue at him and keep on singing anyway.
We finally pull up to the beach parking lot thingy and hop out of the car. We grab our towels and whatnot and walk towards the water. The boys take off their shirts and race each other out to the water while I set all of our stuff down. I strip off my shirt and pants and turn around and Alex standing in the water starring at me with a huge grin on plastered across his face. I all of a sudden feel very self conscious over my body and run to the water. I jump into Alex's arms and he catches me then playful drops me in the water. I come up from the water and scream, "oh my God that feels amazing!". Jace whips around to look at me and Alex and seems to relax after he sees that I'm talking about the water.
We mess around in the water for a little while until me and Alex decide who can swim the fastest to where Jace is floating. " On your mark, get set, Go!" Alex calls and we both swim out to Jace. Halfway there, I don't see Alex anymore. I instantly whip my head around looking for him, "Alex!" I called over and over again.. All of a sudden I feel something come up in between my legs and lift me out of the water. I scream and see that it's Alex who is between my legs. " You almost gave me a heart attack!" I yell at him and playfully slap his head. He just laughs at me and cocks his head up to look at me. I lean over his head and plant a big upside down kiss on his beautiful lips. He kisses me back and then, just to annoy him, I pull my head up and fall into the water. He turns around and sees me starting to swim back to the shore and chases after me. I make it to the sand and start running away so certain he already is on the sand too. I didn't make it very far. He grabs me and knocks me to the ground and sits on me, his legs straddling my hips. He pins both my hands down to the side of my head so I can't get up. I giggle and he leans down and starts kissing my lips. I feel his tongue against my lips asking for entrance into my mouth, I open my mouth.
One moment me and Alex were kissing, the next, Jace is yanking Alex off me like a rag doll. "Jace! What are you doing?" I scream at him as I crawl to Alex. He sits up from the sand looking flustered and then puts one arm around my waist. "He was making out with you!" Jace exclaims. "and?" I ask impatiently. "Nothing." Is all Jace grumbles and he walks off back to the water. "Are you ok?" I ask Alex. "He didn't beat me up or anything, he just picked me up, that's all." He tells me. I just nod my head and kiss him on the cheek and stand up again. "I'm gonna go lay on the towel over there and actually get a tan for once. You better go and talk to Jace." I tell Alex walking away. I leave him there in the sand and turn around to see him giving me a childish look, pleading for me to come back. I can't deny that face, I walk over to him and put my hands on my hips and ask, "what?". He just smiles and tells me, "you look hot when your mad. And I just wanted to see if you would come back.". With that comment he stands up and walks over to Jace, leaving g me blushing beat red.
I spread out a beach towel and lay down and bask in the comfortable sun. I hadn't have been laying there for very long until I feel water being dumped all over me. I jump up and hear Jace and Alex cracking up laughing and high fiving each other. I give them a evil glare and cross my arms across my chest. I quickly think of a way to get them back and I find a way to annoy them both at the same time. I stand up and give Alex a small kiss on the cheek to annoy Jace and then walk away from them, walking as seductively as I can to annoy Alex. By doing this, I manage to shut them both up and leave them with their mouths hanging open. I'm back in the water and yell," why aren't you guys in her yet?" ,bouncing up and down. Alex is in front of me in less than a second after doing this. He puts his hands on my hips and kisses my forehead since Jace was watching. "I'm hungry." Jace randomly announces to us when Alex kisses me. "Yeah me too, you?" Alex asks. I nod my head and then walk out of the water, hand in hand with Alex.
