Morning of shift
Casey's Pov
I wake up to Gabby not in bed. Then I hear Jace crying. I get up and head to his room. "What's the matter buddy?" I say giving him a kiss. "morning babe" gabby says to me. I'll go make breakfast then we need to get ready since we have to drop Jace off." I say heading down to make breakfast. I make the usual pancakes and bacon. After breakfast we tag team I get Jace ready while she gets ready. Then when she done she take a Jace and I get ready. We then head out the door. About 10 minutes later we arrive at daycare. "Hi we are here for Jace first day/night. He's been extremely fussy and crying all morning. I say. "It will be fine." Chloe says. We say our goodbyes to Jace and head to work. We reach the firehouse and I hear Gabby sniffing. "Hey babe it will be fine he'll be fine." I say rubbing her back then kissing her on the head. We hop out of the car and Gabby walks over to me. She rests her head on my chest. "Thank you for awlays knowing what to say." She says as she leans up and kisses me.
