At appointment

Sylvie's pov

We arrive at the doctors and check in. It feels like we are waiting forever. "What's taking so long this is ridiculous." I say "calm down it's not good for the baby." He says to me. "I know I just don't like waiting I'd wanted to go out for a walk before it gets dark it's so nice out. I'm gonna go see what's taking so long" I say. I get up before he has a chance to say anything and I walk up to the front desk. "Excuse me I my appointment was about 25 mins ago. I was just wondering what the hold up was." I ask. " what's the name honey." The lady ask. "It's sylvie Brett" tell her. "Ah yes it should be about another 15 mins or so the doctor got called to deliver a baby earlier today so she's running a bit beside sorry for the inconvenience." She says. " thank you for the update." I say and turn to go back to Kelly. " what did they say? He asks. " running later due to delivering a baby earlier. What are you doing? I ask as I sit back down. "Oh just grading the papers we grabbed." He says. "How are they doing this year? I ask him. "Better then I thought although we do have one guy who's not cutting it. I had high hopes for him. About 10 mins later we get called back. " so how is everything going? I see that you were checked out in the ER?" She says. "Yes I just pulled something. I'm all good now. Baby is perfectly healthy." I say "alright let's see how baby's doing doing now." The doctor says. I get situated on the table and she starts the exam. "Baby looks healthy, growing just as expected. Any questions She asks. "No I don't think so" I say. Alright then I'll see you guys next month pictures will be out front." She tells us. After we made our next appointment and picked up our pictures we went for our walk then headed home.
