Gabby's pov
Mat and I drop of Jace at Miles of Smiles. He was very clingy he cried and cried. I walk hand in hand with Mat into the firehouse. We go and change out. I head to get coffee and he heads to his office to do paperwork. While I'm getting my coffee Brett walks up to me. "Hey how are you and the baby?" I ask. "Only sick every once in a while. Hoping today is a non sick day." She whispers. Shift is almost about to start and I notice Shay is not here yet. I'm about to call here when she comes rushing in. "Sorry, sorry I'm late. I know my alarm didn't go off and I had a late night with the babe." She says. "It's okay you're fine. Go change out." I say to her as she heads off to the locker room. She comes back 15 minutes later. We all sit around chatting and eating breakfast. I'm just about to get up and get more coffee when the alarm goes off.
