At the firehouse
Dawson's pov
We've been at shift for a good 5 hours now. Its been a good shift so far. nothing rally bad to complain about. Although i am really tired. I walk to the common room to get a pop out of the fridge. I need caffeine to keep me awake. I head over to where Shay and Brett are. I sit down and join them. "Hey Brett I meant to ask you how your check up went the other day." I ask her. "It was good. Baby's growing big." She says to me. "we'll that's good. Glad to hear that. I cant wait to meet the little one." i say " me too i can't wait to hold the baby." Shay says "secretly i want another one but that's between the three of us. i haven't talked to Mat yet." I say. We sit and chat a little while longer. Just as I'm about to go visit Mat the alarm goes off. Darn I guess seeing mat will have to wait.
