Later that night
Severide's pov
I'm sitting at the squad table when we are called to chow. I'm starving I hope its good. Burke makes so so meals to eat. I walk into the common room."Man dinner smells amazing Burke." I say "Thanks" she says. we all sit and eat dinner. She made homemade Mac and cheese. It was so yummy. After dinner we hand one call and ambo had two. It was a pretty slow evening. I was getting tired so I thought I'd go in my office to lay down and call Sylvie.
Conversation with Sylvie
SS- hey babe
KS- hey gorgeous. How was the rest of your day?
SS- it was good I missed you. Wishing you were here. How's shift going?
Ks- shift is slow. I wish I was with you too. I'll see you in less then 10 hours. We can do whatever you want when I get home.
SS- alright that sounds like a deal. Hold on be right back.
Ks- you okay?
SS- yeah just a bit nauseous.
Ks- well go get some sleep it's getting late. I miss you And love you.
SS- miss and love you too.
I hang up with Sylvie and fall asleep.
