Severide's pov
We arrive back at the house all three rigs pulling in together. The boy was doing ok and the mother refused to have us take him to the ER. We all hop out and start to head inside and start on lunch. "What do people want for lunch?" Burke asks. Anything is good with us they all say. People are sitting around the table still trying to guess whose baby photo that is. I can't help but sit back and smile. Burke starts making lunch she's making pasta with a avocado garlic pesto. It smells amazing. "What's that smell? It's awful" Brett says as she runs out of the common room with a hand over her mouth. "ohhhhhhhhh ohhhhhh I know who's baby this is. It has to be a Severide and Brett's. Otis says all excited. "You guessed it right." I say "congratulations man" Herrmann says "Yeah Congrats man" the rest say as they come up and hug and high five me. "I better go check on my wife." I say as I head off to the bathroom. I knock on the door. "Go away" she says "Babe its only me" I say as I open the door and walk in. I hear her puking in one of the stalls. I go over and hold back her hair and rub her back for her. After she finishes I help her up. She goes and rinses out her mouth. I then pull her close as she starts to cry. "I was doing so well at work so far. I now feel horrible." She says. "Babe you're fine it's just part of the pregnancy. On the bright side Otis guest that the picture on the table was us." I say as she then leans up and kisses me.
