We arrive on scene to find a 2 story building. It looks to be like the fire is in the back of the building. I walk to the back of the ambo and help get the gear out. I start to feel nauseous but push through it. "lets get ready" I hear Dawson say as Casey and Severide giving orders to their men. I head over by Dawson and Shay and wait for victims to start comming out. "second floor all clear Chief comming out now." I hear Severide say over the radio. "Got one victim took in a lot of smoke he keeps coughing. Casey says over the radio. Just as Casey walks out with the man, the man falls unconscious on the ground. "let's load him into the backboard. Dawson says. We roll him onto the backboard. "On three let's lift him onto the stretcher". Mat says "one two thre.... "aaarrrrggg I yell very loud grabbing my stomach. Kelly running up to me. "What's wrong what happened?" Severide asks. I'm fine" I say. That scream was not fine. You're going to get checked out." He says to me.
Is she.... Herrmann questioned" I don't know what you're talking about Herrmann" Kelly said with a slight smile "she is i know it." Herrmann says "Hey Brett will handle the patient from here get in the ambo." Dawson says. "Dawson I'm fine to help out." I say. "I know but until you get checked out stand down that's an order." Dawson says to me. I hop in the rig and we head off to Med.
