Chapter 9

At shift

Dawson's pov
We haven't got very many calls today. I was in the mood to cook. Normal it. e the candidates job to make the meal but I told Burke she could have the night off that I would make dinner. "What's for dinner Dawson?" Otis ask. "Chicken Enceladus" I say. Walk over to the kitchen and start making dinner. Halfway through making dinner Casey walks into the room. "Smells good Dawson can wait starving." He says as he sits in his chair. "Can I do anything to help?" Burke asks "nah I got it but thanks." I say "if you need any help I'll be over by the lieutenant." She says "and the lieutenant will be over by his wife." Casey says getting up out of his chair and over to me. "Denied! Burke when you gonna give it up he's not leaving me." I say as he leans down and kisses me. "Hey no PDA out here keep it to your office" Otis says "foods done. Casey, call everyone to chow."I say. He walks out to the apparatus bay. "Chows up everyone Dawson cooked." He says. We all go in and eat.

Casey's pov
It's very late at night and I hear a knock on my office door. I'm about to get up when Dawson walks in. "I can't sleep can I stay in here with you. I know it's frowned upon but please." She says. "We are married come-on I don't think they'd care." I say as I scoot over so she can join me. She lies down next to me and I pull her close. We fall alseep in each other's arms.
