Gabby's pov
We head back inside to see if we can get an update on Jace. "I must look like a mess" I say to Casey. "You look beautiful babe." He says to me as we walk through the doors. 51 greats us as we head over to them. "Casey I've put Herrmann as the relief lieutenant and Dawson ambo can be a two man team for the rest of shift. I want you guys here." Chief says. "Thanks chief that means a lot to us." I say. Just as I'm about to sit down a nurse walks out. "Family of Jace Casey" she says. Casey and I walk over to her. "That's us." I say "How is he?" Casey asks. "He's stable we gave him fluids and some meds. He just woke up so I thought I'd come get you he'd been asking for daddy. He's in room 104 just down there" she says. We look at chief and he gives us the nod. "We'll let you guys go and we'll get back to work." He says. "Thanks guys for everything." I say as we head down the hall.
