At the firehouse
Casey's pov
I walk into the firehouse and head to the locker room to put my stuff away.
Gabby slowly follows me. I put my stuff in my locker and as I'm about to leave she grabs my by the arm and pulls me back towards her." Hey be safe out there babe. We want you home." She says to me just before she kisses me. "Love you always and forever."I say as I kiss her back and head out to the common room. While I'm waiting for the rest of my company to arrive I grab my coffee out of my usaual cup and sit down to read the paper.
Dawson's pov
After I changed out I went to the Ambo to start restocking it. I figured I get a head start on it before shay and Brett arrived. I was about 10 mins into restocking when a man walked up to me."excuse me I'm looking for a Casey." He says to me. "I'm a Casey what can I do for you?" I ask him "hi I'm Shaw, your new guy on truck 81. It's nice to meet you." He says to me. I give a little chuckle "ah you want the othe Casey" I say "the other Casey"he says confused. "My orders here say LT Casey is that not you." "No that would be my husband Mat Casey but you can call me Gabby Dawson at work it's just easier to tell us apart. Left me take you to him." I say we head in and I introduce him to Casey.
