I glanced at my watch. It was only 5:35 and my mom wasn't going to be home any time soon since she was out of the country. I had a whole two and half weeks to myself. She wouldn't mind if I made some time to hang out with a friend.
"Sure," I gave Karma a smile. He extended his hand out to me, which I kindly accepted. "Why not?"
~(Y/N)'S POV~
"Karma?" I called out. It was slowly becoming dark, and my feet were aching.
He said we were going to take me somewhere special where no one's ever been before, besides for the people who worked there.
"Where is it your taking me, exactly?" I asked him as we speedily walked down the street. Cars honked when Karma and I crossed the road during a green light. But he just brushed them off.
Once we safely crossed the street, he let go of my hand and cast me a sideways look. He grinned at me.
He held up a finger to his lips and winked. "It's a secret."
And now here I am, walked next to the physocpath redhead to some unknown location.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to follow him after all....
"We're almost there, (Y/N)~" Karma stated. We haven't talked in a while. My eyes felt glued to every single thing besides Karma's face.
What a fool I am.
"Karma...." I groaned. I didn't want to continue to walk anymore. It's now 6 o'clock and I wanted to go home, not walk around aimlessly around town.
"We're here!" Karma stood proudly next to me, his chest sticking out as he extends his arms. My eyes grew wide.
"A...a church?" I asked, slightly confused.
Why would Karma take me to a church?
The church was huge, it's walls glistening against the setting sun. I looked up at its giant bell, which would indicate the end of the day soon.
"Why a church?" I asked. I redirected my attention from the white church to the redhead.
He wasn't looking at me anymore, but now was also staring up at the church with his hands in his pockets. He looked like he was in deep thought, it made a small blush cross over my face.
He looks cute....
I slapped myself. Hard. It left a stinging sensation throughout my skin.
I guess I slapped myself too loud- Karma directed his attention to me, his mouth curved into a smile. A sadist smile.
"Why ya' slap your self, (Y/N)?"
I didn't answer him but only pouted. "I thought we were going to play a game."
Karma grinned at me. "We will just be patient," he easily dropped the topic.
Karma slowly started to walk towards the back of the church, with me following in toe. He didn't tell me to, it was something I decided for myself.
"I'm surprised you're following me, (Y/N)," Karma called out to me. We slowly passed by the church's front. I stared at the engravings on the door.
'A place with no judgment, where people can find hope and faith in the unknown.'
I wasn't the religious type, nor did Karma seem like one too. "I can turn back now if I wanted."
Karma gave me a sideways glance. "But you won't. You want to know more."
