Did you ever wonder what God was thinking when he created you? What he was thinking about what kind of past you would have? What kind of people will be important of shaping the kind of person you will turn out to be? I sometimes wonder about this very thing too in times like these.
Is there really a God? I wouldn't be able to answer this question either. Is he a person that controls us or a person that loves to see all the people on Earth fraddle around mindlessly and wants to see what happens next?
I sigh, hitting Player 1, bouncing a little higher this time. With my arms crossed and a frown written across my face, I stare at the empty blackness in front of me.
"Dr. Reinfeild," the sudden voice of a very familiar blond female echoed out around me in a monotone voice. "The final experiment will undergo in a half an hour. I expect that I will see you and RX35 in the lab on time. Alright?"
The gruff response of probably a nod of the head was all that was heard. Final experiment? My eyes widen in realization. This is the day. The day I get my tentacles.
Adrenaline coursed through my body as I jammed my shoulder into Player 2. "Let me out! I need to see her! Let me out!" I screeched. When my shoulder came into contact, a small crack appeared in the wall.
At first, it was just a thin white line that appeared in the middle of the wall. Then a loud crackling sound echoed out as a new line began to spread. The crackling sound reminded me of firewood being cracked slowly by the fire eating it alive.
I backed away, watching as the scene of cracking unwrap. Larger lines of white spread, covering the whole wall. "Uh oh..." I muttered. Something was pushing it from the other side. A force so strong, that I was sure it was the original force of causing the wall to crack.
Time seemed to stop. The cracking sound sounding distant and the cracks came close to a stop. I lifted my arms up, blocking my face. Then all at once, the sound of rushing waves and something bursting met my ears. My body was pushed back from a wave of coldness as I was jerked forwards and up.
I curled up in a ball to protect myself and kept my eyes closed. Even though this was all just a memory, it still felt real.
I was in a similar space of the blackness as I slowly unwrapped myself from the fetal position. Now it felt as if I was submerged into calm waters, being gently pushed around in the blue substance. From a far, I could make out a small figure wrapped in a ball. Their hair spread out from the top of their head and spreading out into the ocean. Expanding a hand out, I started to do a small paddle and kicking my legs over to the figures direction.
"I love you, forever and always." I heard a small voice whisper. It was distant and barley audible. But from a small edge to the voice, I can tell it was male. I stopped in my tracks, suddenly memorized by the voice. It felt oddly familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. "No matter where you go, no matter who you try to be. I will always love you, (Y/N)".
Then I was jerked backwards as a rushing pain crushed me. Agony. Rage. Anger. Hatred. It all hit me all at once.
'Why was it me? Why couldn't I be normal? Why did I, plain little (Y/N) had to be experimented on? Why couldn't I just grown up like everyone else in the world?' Little (Y/N)'s thought's echoed around the space. The figure was gone and nothing replaced the empty space. I stared at the space before slowly turning around and meeting a new scene.
