"Kaede-chan, Rio-san, what are you doing here?" It was early Saturday morning, the day I was declared to be spent with Karma.
"We wanted to make you pretty for your date!" Kaede-chan gave me a small smile before Rio-san lifted up a box what I'm guessing is makeup. I rub my eyes. They where wearing causual clothing unlike me, where I was wearing a long T-shirt and (c/p) underpants underneath.
"Come in," I open the door wider and invited them in. Kaede-chan smiled widely at me as Rio-san gave me a slight grin.
"I'm going to get something to eat, do you guys want something?" I ask. They replied with a simple 'no' and sat them selves on my couch.
I went into the kitchen and go into the cut board. I grab my half empty favorite cereal and dumped it into a bowl. I pour some milk into it and grab a spoon and return to them in the living room.
"So why are you guys helping me again?" I stuff a spoon full of cereal in my mouth. Rio-san was surfing through the channels on my TV, not really paying attention. Kaede-chan grabbed my hands forcing me more towards her.
"We want you to look pretty when your out for your date!" She sung. Rio-san gruffly agreed.
"Its not a date, he won a contest, so I'm giving him his prize!" I groaned.
Kaede-chan rolled her eyes. "That's not true!" She looked at me with hopeful eyes. "I think you and Karma like each other!"
"Kaede-chan~!" I whined. I hated every time she brought this up.
"Its true!" She argued back. "You and Karma always act different when your with each other!"
I perked up. We acted different?
"Its true," Rio-san added on. "Karma always teases you more and you act a little rude when you're with him."
"I'm not rude!"
"Yes you are, to Karma at least. I've read an article that says when someone likes some else, they act a little ruder to that person because they don't know how to show their true feelings to that person."
"I don't have feelings for Karma," I replied coldly.
"Yes you do!" They chanted together. I roll my eyes before stuffing another spoon full of cereal in my mouth. They can believe what they want, but it doesn't really matter of their opinion on my love life. I'm not even dating for crying out loud!
After ten minutes of declaring that I don't have feelings for Karma, Kaede-chan brings up the topic that I was most trying to avoid.
"So then what does this color mean?" Kaede-chan took out her phone and scrold through what I'm guessing is her messages. She clicked on something and then showed me. My mouth went dry and my hands began to twitch. It was the picture of my eyes Karma got an edge with. My eyes where soild pink.
"Last time I checked, pink means love~" Kaede-chan declared while wiggling her eyebrows.
"W-well you don't know that for sure!" I shouted, snatching her phone out of her hands. I quickly delete the photo and see who sent to her. Karma. Of course.
"It could mean anything!" I shout again. Kaede-chan rolled her eyes and took her phone back.
"And by looking at the picture, which I have a copy of! It seems you where home, down that hallway!" Kaede-chan got up and started down the hallway. Rio-san got up and followed her too, but I sat there, slowly munching on my cereal.
"See, right here!" I heard Kaede-chan declare. "This picture matches the one in the photo!"
I quickly finish my cereal before Kaede-chan can question me any more. "I'm done! So hurry up and doll me up!"
