Lachlans pov- Simon, Preston, and I walked out of the airport and headed toward our taxi. We were in California for one week for our 1 year anniversary and we were going to spend it in Laguna Beach, CA and Anaheim,CA. We arrived at our hotel and went to check in by the time we got unpacked it was about 3pm. We didn't want to call for a taxi or uber so we settled on going to our hotels private beach. We each grabbed a towel and changed into our swimming trunks before heading down to the beach.

We swam for about two hours before getting out of the freezing water to dry off. I reached my towel first and decided that Simon and Preston had to earn their towels. I put them on a rock where they wouldn't and couldn't reach it and then sat innocently on the sand wrapped in my towel. They reached me within a few minutes and looked around confusedly trying to find where their towels had disappeared to. After a few minutes I began to giggle and they immediately tackled me to the ground. "Lachy?" Preston asked in a sickeningly sweet voice. "Yes Lava P" "Where did you put our towels?" "I didn't put them anywhere." I said innocently. "Lachy don't lie to us." Preston says shaking his finger at me. Simon snickers behind him. I nod and point to where I had hid them before running up the stairs to the deck and laughing as I sat on one of the couches to wait for my two dorks.

They ran up a few minutes later shivering and wrapped in their towels. Guilt filled me as they dive into my arms shaking from the cold. "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that." I said shaking my head. Preston tilted my chin up and gave me a soft peck on the lips, and Simon followed suit. "Lachy don't be sad we know you were only trying to have fun," Simon nodded at Preston's statement. We decided that it was time to eat and chose a Mexican restaurant down the street. -time skip to that night- Simon's Pov~ We were headed back up to the deck when I began to hear it. The faint sound of sobbing. It brought back memories I'd tried to forget but couldn't. A few years ago Preston and Lachlan had saved me from depression and I haven't really talked much since but instead I listen to what is being said which is why I'm considered mute. I couldn't get that sound off of my mind by the time we had gotten upstairs and decided to find out where it was coming from. I began to wander when Preston called out, "Where you goin Si?" I sighed before using my shaky voice. "I h-heard someone c-crying I'm going to go f-find them." Both Simon and Lachlan looked at me with wide eyes as I hadn't spoken in three weeks. They hugged me gently and without another word I was gone. I walked back downstairs still following the muffled noise, and finally stopped when I reached the pool.
