Simon's Pov
"Cal is coming over guys!" Josh yells to the rest of us.
"Okay!" Is what I hear from almost everyone. I was currently sitting at my computer editing a video but I couldn't focus. My mind kept wandering to a certain someone who recently wouldn't leave my thoughts...Cal.
I knew I was gay but I did not want to ruin a friendship with someone who meant so much to me. Call me cheesy but Cal is the person I go to for everything. In fact he's the only one who knows I'm gay.
I hear the door open downstairs followed by "hey freezy"
"Sup Cal" and a few other greetings from the others but I sit still in my room. Thinking about my feelings and what to tell Cal.
Cal's pov
When everyone has stopped saying their hellos I realize that the only one to not come and greet me was Simon. I was quietly thinking to myself when I heard a soft "Hi Cal."
I look up at Simon and he looks at me. I slowly walk over to him and we just stand there awkwardly not saying anything but instead looking at the floor.
"So how are you Si?"
"I've been better."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
He silently nods his head and starts up the stairs to his room with me close behind.
We reach his room still not talking and sit on his bed. He's looking at the floor in deep thought and looks as if he's having an internal debate about something.
"Simon are you ok?"
"no" comes the almost silent response.
He looks up for the first time since our awkward encounter downstairs and I see tears falling down his pale cheeks.
I open my arms signaling him to come closer and wrap my arms around him in a hug. He shudders and takes a deep breath before starting to speak.
"Cal"
"Yeah"
"I have something to tell you but you have to promise you'll hear me out please."
"I promise."
"O-ok I-I-I like y-you."
"I like you too Simon."
"No I m-mean a.." I cut him off and start to say,
"I know Simon I like you too." I tilt his chin up so we're looking in each other's eyes and give him a light peck on the lips. He smiles and kisses me gently back.
-that night-
I called Harry to let him know I was staying at the sidemen house then crawled into Simon's bed and waited for him to be done getting ready after his shower.
A few minutes later he sleepily walked out of the bathroom and turned off the lights. Then he crawled in next to me.
"Hey Si" I smiled lightly
"Hey Cal"he said sleepily
"You tired?"
He nods his head. I pull him to me so that our foreheads are touching and our legs are a tangled mess.
-next morning-
Simon's Pov
I woke up to hearing cameras flash and Cal holding me from behind. I blush and turn over to find Cal smiling and the rest of the sidemen taking photos of us. I bury my head into Cal's shirt and hear him laugh softly.
I look up and the boys have crowded the bed.
"Can I help you?"
"No just wondering why you didn't tell us about lover boy here" JJ says and points to Cal.
We all laugh and Cal and I sit up and he brings me into his lap and lays his head on my shoulder. We all ended up downstairs watching movies the rest of the day and enjoying each other's bad jokes and food.

A/N really crappy I know but I'm trying I swear plus I think I'm doing better updating this than any other book I have so that's sort of an accomplishment anyways thanks for reading! bye lovelies 😊💕
