Sam's Birthday

{The next day}
Dean's POV
I was at work and fixing car when my boss said I had a visitor. I said ok and my boss brought the visitor. It was Gabe.

"Hey Dean, sorry I didn't call first."

"No, it's fine. What's up?"

He looked down for a second and then looked up at me again.

"Dean, I wanted to ask you if I could have your permission for Sam's hand in marriage?"

"Yes you may, Gabriel."

"Thank you, Dean!" He said jumping up and down.

"You're welcome, Gabriel." I said starting to cry.

I can't believe this was happening for Sammy. I was so happy for him.

Gabe hugged me and thanked me one last time.

"When are you going to propose?" I ask him.

"This Saturday night. I'm going to invite you all."

Wait, this Saturday is also Sam's birthday." I said.

He smiled and nodded.

"Oh my god, that's so sweet that you're going to do it on his birthday!" I said starting to tear up again.

"Yup." Gabe said.

{Saturday morning}
Gabe's POV
It was 7:00 in the morning and Sam was still asleep. I went downstairs and I started making him a special breakfast for his birthday.

I made eggs, French Toast, bacon, and pancakes. I grabbed a glass and poured him a glass of apple juice. I looked around for a tray and found one. I put his breakfasts on a plate, put the plate on the tray along with the apple juice, and went upstairs. I really hoped he liked his birthday breakfast.

I opened the door and I woke him up.

"Happy Birthday, handsome." I said and he woke up.

He sat up and laughed.

"Thank you, Gabe."

"You're welcome, Birthday king."

"Birthday king?" He said chuckling at the name.

"Well, it's your birthday and you should be treated like a king today." I said smiling.

"I made you breakfast. It's eggs, French Toast, bacon, and pancakes with a glass of apple juice."

"Thank you, Gabe." He smiled at me.

"You're welcome."

I handed him the tray and he started eating. He made a sound that told me he loved it.

Once he finished eating his breakfast, I took the tray downstairs and started washing the dishes, while he got ready.

He came downstairs and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I kiss him back and then we pulled away.

"So, what do you have planned for today?" Sam asks.

"Well, I was think we could go to the movies, go out for lunch, come back here and relax a little bit, then I'd make your favorite meal for you."

"I like that idea." He said and then kissed me again.

"I love you, Gabe."

"I love you, too Sam." I kissed him passionately and he kissed me back as well.

{At the movies}
Sam's POV
We were watching Alive through the looking glass and it was good so far. Gabe and I mostly kissed for mostly the whole movie though. I didn't really care though, I loved the feeling of his lips on mine. There was this one time during the movie where we kissed for like 10 minutes. Nothing sexual. It was a kiss of pure love.

{At home}
At home we lied in bed in each other's arms. I loved being in his arms. His golden wings wrapped around mine. I loved him so much and I was so lucky to be his soulmate. I was lucky that we were meant to be.

{5:00 in the evening}
Gabe's POV
Sam was downstairs watching a movie and I was getting ready for tonight. I opened my shirt drawer and grabbed a little black box that held Sam's wedding ring in it. I put it in my pocket and went downstairs. I couldn't believe I was finally going to do this. I was going to ask Sam to marry me. I was so nervous but so excited at the same time.

"Hey Sam, you should probably start getting ready for tonight. Cas, Dean, and Abbey are going to be here in an hour.

"Alright." He stood up and looked me up and down.

"You look really good, Gabe."

"Thanks Sam."

"You're welcome."

He walked upstairs and then closed our bedroom door. I went into the kitchen and I made pasta and meatballs.

It took an hour to make. After the food was ready I set the table. Then, the doorbell rang.

I opened it and saw Dean, Cas, and Abbey. They all looked very nice. Cas was wearing black dress pants, a button down white shirt, a black belt, and a blue tie that was backward, and dress shoes. On top of all of that, he had his trench coat that he's had ever since he was a teenager. Dean was wearing a pair of jeans with a white button down shirt and dress shoes. Abbey was wearing a little black dress that fell down to her knees and white sandals.

"Hey guys, you all look really good."

"Thanks." Dean said giving me a smile.

Sam came down and said hi to everyone. Then, we sat down to eat. We brought up old memories and we laughed. We were having a good time.

After dinner we cleaned up we told Sam to go sit down and watch something. He did.

Then, we got out the cake out of the freezer and then we put the candles in. We lit them and then we called Sam into the room.

He came in and he sat down.

We sang happy birthday and then he blew out the candles. We all clapped and cheered.

Then we did gifts.

Sam's POV
We were doing gifts. Dean got me some more plaid shirt, some new jeans, and some new shoes. Cas got me a bunch of mythology book.

"Sam, I have one more surprise for you."

"Gabe, this is already amazing."

"Sam Winchester, you've always been there for me, you were the first friend I made when we went to school, you're my soulmate, my boyfriend, and an amazing man. Now, there's something I want to ask you tonight. It's a really important question."

"Ok, what is it?" I asked curiously.

"Sam Winchester" he stopped.

He got down on one knee and took something out of his pocket. It was a little black box and he opened it.

"Sam Winchester, will you marry me?" He asked smiling.

"Yes, a million times yes!" I said happily. I started crying.

He stood up and he slid the ring on my finger.

I kissed him passionately. He kissed me back. Everyone clapped and cheered. The congratulated us both and Gabe thanked Dean for giving him permission to marry. Dean said you're welcome.
