The supermarket

Cas' POV
"I'll be right back, guys. I have go inside the store to get something. I'll be back in a little bit." I said before getting out of the car.

I left the car on for them.

I walked into the store and went to the aisle that had sunscreen.

Dean's POV
I walked into the store and started getting groceries. It was only me living in the apartment so I saved a lot on food. It was awesome.

I was going past the aisle that had sunscreen when someone caught me eye. I stopped and looked. It was Cas.

My mouth dropped open and I quickly walked away. I couldn't let him see me.

Besides, it looks to me like he is better off without me in his life. Why should I ruin that for him.

I shake my head and continue shopping for food.

Cas' POV
After I got the sunscreen I went to get some snacks for the beach. I was in the chips aisle and someone caught my eye. It was Dean.

He was holding the chips in his hand. Then, I noticed something. He didn't have his wedding ring on.

My heart broke when I saw that. I walked out of the chips aisle before Dean could see me.

I didn't have on my wedding ring on either but I just thought that maybe he would've kept his on.

I paid for the stuff, walked out of the store, got in the car, and started making my way towards the beach.

Dean's POV
I just remember how happy Cas looked when I saw him earlier. I remember something else. I got a glimpse of his hand and he wasn't wearing his wedding ring.

I'm sure he meant what he said that day we had that fight. He said he hated me and that he never wanted to see me ever again. So, for him not be reminded of me, he took off his wedding ring and did something with it. That's probably why he wasn't wearing his wedding ring.

I guess I shouldn't have expected him to keep his wedding ring on. He hates me and he doesn't want anything to do with me.

I finish shopping for food, pay for it, and go back home.

I think I might go to the beach today. It's a beautiful day today and I hadn't been to the beach in a really long time.

I put all the groceries away and get changed into my swim suit. I grab my towel, wallet, and phone. I walk outside and put everything in the front seat of my car. Then, I start making my way towards the beach.

I get to the beach, park the Impala, and get everything out of the car. I walk onto the beach and try to find a place I can put my stuff. I walk around for a little bit and finally find a spot. It's a spot near the water. I put everything down, take off my shirt, and go into the water.

I start getting flashbacks from when Cas and I went on a date and we were in this exact same spot.

The way we looked at each other. With love in our eyes and I remember my heart fluttering. We were both so happy that day. I was about to start crying but I held my tears back.

I look around on the beach and I see Cas talking to some other guy. I think Cas and him might be flirting. Abbey and Dylan were walking along the beach. Hand in hand.

I looked back at Cas and he was laughing. He started rubbing his hand up and down the guys arm. Then, him and the other guy started kissing.

I turned around and turned my back to him. I couldn't watch any more.

You know what? If Cas is happy with that other guy, that's fine. It's totally clear to me that he's been happy without me in his life.

"Hello, Dean." I hear someone say from behind me. I knew for sure that wasn't Cas' voice.
