~6:30 a.m~
Abbey's POV
I woke up at 6:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Today was Dylan's birthday and I needed to get him a gift. I got up from my bed, got dressed, grabbed some money, opened the window, climbed out of it, and then closed the window. I jumped off the roof and started flapping my wings. I flew straight and when I saw the Walmart I flew down and landed. I went inside and started looking for a gift for Dylan.

I walked over to where all the men's bracelets were. I saw a few leather bracelets. I saw one that Dylan would possible like. I picked up a black leather one. It was just a simple black leather bracelet. I looked at the price tag and put it back. It was 40 dollars.

I looked over to the men's necklaces. My eyes fell upon a necklace and it had an Egyptian charm on it or something. I looked at the price tag and it was only 5 dollars. I picked it up and decided I would get it for my dad. In Supernatural Dean has the exact same necklace that I have in my hands right now.

I looked over at the men's rings and I found a simple silver one. It was 20 dollars and I had enough money to pay for both things.

I went up to the register, payed for it, and then flew back home. I got home, opened my bedroom window, climbed back inside my room, and closed the window again. I gut the bag on my dresser and then went back to sleep. I set my alarm for 7:30.

{7:30 a.m}
I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I woke up, turned off my alarm, and looked for a small bag to put the ring in. I found a small bag and put the box with the ring inside, inside the bag.

I opened the guest room door and then closed it behind me. I walked in and saw Dylan was still sleeping peacefully. I smiled and then decided to wake him up.

"Dylan." I whispered in his ear, saying it in the creepiest voice I could manage without bursting out and laughing.

He shot straight up in bed and looks at me. I busted out laughing and he gave me a bitchface.

"Oh come on, that was hilarious." I said holding my stomach.

"That was not funny." Dylan said in the most irritated voice.

I stopped laughing and said, "Aww Dylan, I'm sorry."

"It's fine." Dylan said.

"Thank you for apologizing." He continued.

"Thank you for excepting my apology." I said with a smile.

"You're welcome." He said smiling back at me.

"Here, I got you a present." I said handing him the small bag.

"Thank you, Abbey."

"You're welcome. Plus, we're friends. That's what friends are for." I said smiling at him.

I looked down at my bracelet that he got me for my birthday and smiled at it.

He took the box out of the box and he opened it.

"I like it, thanks Abbey." He slid the ring on.

"I didn't know what else to get you. I mean, I didn't really think you would want a necklace or a bracelet." I said truthfully.

He laughed and my wings fluttered.

"Abbey, it's fine. I like it, it's nice." He said smiling.

"Ok, that's good. I was kind of nervous that you weren't going to like it." I stated honestly.

"Well I do. I like it and it means a lot that you got me something for my birthday." He smiled sadly.

"You're the first person that has ever gotten me something for my birthday. My friends back then didn't bother to get me anything ever." He stated a bit sadly.

"Well, I'm glad I could make you smile today." I said.

After I said it, I kind of regretted it. It made me sound like I wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend. I still see him as my best friend and I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship.

He just smiles and my wings flutter.

Why do my wings keep doing that? Dylan and I are just best friends. We'll never be anything more than that. Just best friends for our whole lives.

Dylan's POV
I like Abbey a lot. What can I say? She's amazing, she's smart, she's sweet, she's beautiful, and she knows how to make me smile. She's perfect in every single way.

If I could, I would totally date her. But, she doesn't like me the way I like her. I have to respect that. If she doesn't like me the way I like her, then she doesn't like me. We're best friends and we have to respect each other's decisions.

I secretly pray that she's my soulmate. That our wings match. God, please hope our wings match.

If I'm not her soulmate, I don't know what I'm going to do. What if she just forgets about me in the future because she's happily married to her soulmate? I just hope that our wings match.

Abbey's POV
"Alright, well I'll see you later. I'm going to go get ready for the day and make myself look presentable." I laughed before leaving the guest room.

I walk out of the room and see Cas coming out of his room.

I look at him and he looks at me. We just stare at each other for a few minutes, not saying anything to each other, just staring into each other's eyes.

He cleared his throat and said, "Awkward."

He then walked down the stairs and I walked down with him. I followed him into the kitchen.

"Dad, I need to talk to you about something."

"Ok. What is it, honey?"

"I don't know what to do for Dylan. It's his birthday today and I want to make his birthday special. We're best friends, I want to make something out of his birthday." I stated truthfully.

"Honey, I'm sure that whatever you do for him will be special to him. You're pretty much all that he has. His parents were horrible to him, you told me Ruby hated him, but you. You were by his said through all the ups and down in his life." He smiled at me.

I smiled at him and hugged him.

"Thanks dad."

"You're welcome, honey." He smiled.
