Chapter 6

{Chris's POV} 

When I woke up Esmeralda was still sound asleep, I snuggled up behind her and draped my arm across her my free hand touched something wet under the covers I took my hand out from under the covers and noticed it was blood. I gently slid out of bed and noticed that Esmeralda got her period I walked into the bathroom I washed the blood off my hand and ran Esmeralda a nice warm bath I left the bathroom and gently shook Esmeralda. 

"Baby wake up." 

"What's wrong?" 

"You must have gotten your period and it came through your pajama pants." I said gently. 

Esmeralda climbed out of bed and ran into the bathroom I walked into the bathroom she was sitting in the tub with her head resting against her knees I knelt down beside the tub and kissed her head. 

"Are you angry at me?" Esmeralda asked somberly. 

"Of course, not how can I be angry at you I have a younger sister and dated a few girls before I met you so I am used to this kind of thing." I said softly. 

"I don't have anything for my period." 

"I'll see if one of the guy's girlfriends will bring you some pads and something for your cramps." 

I left the bathroom and grabbed my phone off the bedside table and walked back into the bathroom I sat on the counter I felt bad for Esmeralda because she doesn't have anything for her period. 

"Esmeralda what do you use for your period?" I asked. 

"I use Always Pads they come in a purple wrapper and it says 27 count on the bag and for cramps I take Midol Complete." Esmeralda said. 

I sent a text to Balz explaining what happened and asked him if Ryan Ashley could bring Esmeralda Pads and Midol, I left the bathroom and stripped the bed I walked back into the bathroom and grabbed Esmeralda pajamas and underwear. I grabbed the bedding and walked downstairs to the laundry room and started the washing machine I walked back upstairs to mine and Esmeralda's room I cleaned the blood off the mattress and let it dry my cellphone was ringing I grabbed my phone and answered it. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey Chris I'm outside with everything for Esmeralda." 

"Thanks, I really appreciate it." 

"Your more than welcome." Ryan Ashley said. 

I hung up the phone and walked downstairs and answered the door Ryan Ashley handed me the bag and left I locked the doors and walked back upstairs I walked into the bedroom I grabbed Esmeralda a clean pair of underwear and walked back into the bathroom I sat her underwear and bag on the counter. 

"Baby, Balz's wife-to-be just dropped off your pads and Midol I think she might have brought you over some other stuff as well." I said. 

I left the bathroom and put clean bed sheets on the bed I got dressed I walked into the bathroom when I was finished in the bathroom I walked downstairs and walked into the laundry room I took the bedding and Esmeralda's clothes out of the washing machine and put them in the dryer I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. Esmeralda came into the living room she snuggled up beside me on the couch I wrapped my arm around her she laid her head on my chest I kissed her head she draped her arm across me. 

"Do you have an old beach towel or bath towel that I can sleep on tonight when we go to bed?" Esmeralda asked. 

"I'll get you out an old beach towel or bath towel for you to sleep on. Did you take the Midol yet? I said. 

"Yea I took those as soon as I got out of the tub." 

"I'll look after you." I said. 

"Aww thank you that is really sweet of you." Esmeralda replied. 

I checked on Esmeralda and she was sound asleep I softly kissed her cheek and flipped through the channels trying to find something to watch on TV, I was watching Boomerang on Direct TV I was watching a show called The Amazing World of Gumball it was a pretty funny show my cellphone was ringing I answered it before it woke Esmeralda up. 

"Hey little brother." 

"Hey big brother." 

"What can I do for you Nick?" I asked. 

"Mom wants to know if your busy tomorrow." Nick said. 

"No, I don't have any plans why?" 

"Mom wants us all over the house tomorrow for dinner." 

"I'll let you know because I will have to see if Esmeralda would like to go with me tomorrow." I said. 

"Wait who's Esmeralda?" Nick asked curiously. 

"Esmeralda is my girlfriend I met her at Warped Tour when we were in her hometown and I showed up at her house three months ago to visit her. Esmeralda's parents didn't approve of me and her parents were being rude to me Esmeralda stood up for me I didn't like the way her parents were treating her so I spoke my mind to Esmeralda's parents so long story short her parents kicked her out so I took Esmeralda in." 

"Do you think she could be the one?" 

"I believe so because all through the rest of Warped Tour I couldn't stop thinking about her." 

When I got off the phone with Nick, Esmeralda was starting to stir she sat up on the couch and wiped the drool from her mouth with the back of her hand she looked at me and blushed embarrassed I looked at her and smiled. 

"I'm sorry that I drooled on you." Esmeralda apologized. 

"It's okay I'm not angry. Did you have a nice nap?" I asked. 

"I did have a nice nap and I feel a little better than I did earlier." 

"My younger brother Nick called while you were sleeping." 

"What did your brother have to say because you have a worried look on your face." Esmeralda said. 

"My mom would like us all over tomorrow for dinner and I told Nick that I would have to ask you. Would you like to go to my mom's house for dinner tomorrow?" I asked. 

"I would love to go over to your mom's tomorrow." 

"I'll send Nick a text." 

I grabbed my phone and texted Nick; Esmeralda left the living room when I was done texting Nick I walked into the kitchen and saw Esmeralda cooking dinner I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. 

"Hi babe." Esmeralda giggled. 

"How did you know it was me?" I asked. 

"We're the only ones in your house and I heard you come into the kitchen I forgot to tell you that my period will only last for three days." Esmeralda said. 

"Why will your period only last three days?" 

"I forgot that I'm on birth control my mom had me put on birth control but before you ask no I'm not sexually active I don't even know why she had the doctor put me on birth control in the beginning." 

"It's none of my business to ask you if your sexually active I wasn't raised to ask a lady something personal like that." I said. 

"I feel like since you are my first real boyfriend that you should know if I slept with anyone before I met you, I never even kissed a guy before." Esmeralda explained. 

 Later on, that night I came out of the bathroom from taking my shower and saw Esmeralda fast asleep I climbed into bed and covered myself up I turned off the lamp and snuggled up beside her and fell asleep. 

A/N: Chris is such is a loving and caring boyfriend towards Esmeralda find out in the next chapter how Chris takes the news when Esmeralda has to go home because of a family emergency.
