Chapter 14

{Chris's POV} 

When I woke up Esmeralda was still fast asleep Binx was snuggled up beside her I leaned over and softly kissed her forehead I quietly slid out of bed and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and turned on the coffee pot I left the kitchen and walked down the hall to my office I sat down on the leather couch and grabbed my guitar and started playing. A few minutes later I heard Esmeralda coming down the stairs she came into my office and stood in the door way watching me play guitar I stopped playing and put my guitar down. 

"You don't have to stop playing because I am standing here." Esmeralda said. 

"I know I didn't but I'd rather be holding you instead." I replied with a smile.

Esmeralda walked over to me and sat on my lap I wrapped my arm around her waist she looked at me and smiled I kissed her, she kissed me and smiled against my lips I pulled away Esmeralda looked at me and blushed she laid her head on my shoulder I softly kissed her forehead. 

"Babe can I ask you something." 

"Baby you can ask me anything you want." 

"Have you decided if or when we are going to have a family of our own?" Esmeralda asked nervously. 

"As a matter of fact, I have we can start a family of our own after I make an honest woman out of you because I don't want you to think that if you do get pregnant before we are married that I will leave you." I explained. 

"Chris, that's not true if I were to get pregnant before we were married, I know you would never leave me because the night we made love for the first time you told me that you would never leave me." 

I got up off the couch and left my office I walked into the kitchen and turned on the coffee pot Esmeralda came into the kitchen we grabbed ourselves a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table. When we were finished eating breakfast, I washed up our dishes while Esmeralda made coffee Esmeralda and I grabbed our coffee mugs and walked back into my office I sat down on the leather couch she sat down beside me we drank our coffee together. 

"Baby would you like to go visit your aunt, uncle, and baby cousins?" I asked. 

"I would love to babe but you have work to do your band's new album is more important my aunt and uncle would agree." Esmeralda said. 

"I know I have work to do but I need to talk to your uncle about something and I'd rather do it in person than over the phone." 

"We can go see my aunt and uncle we just won't stay to long so you can finish your work." 

Esmeralda took my mug and her mug and left my office I followed behind her and walked upstairs to our room. I got dressed and walked into the bathroom when I was finished in the bathroom Esmeralda was sitting on the bed putting her shoes on, I sat beside her and put my shoes on I grabbed my leather jacket out of the closet and put it on. I suddenly felt nervous about asking Esmeralda's uncle for her hand I walked downstairs and waited for Esmeralda by the front door I heard her coming down the stairs she walked over to me we left the house. Esmeralda and I climbed into my SUV, I started the engine and drove away when we arrived at Esmeralda's aunt and uncles I parked in front of their house and killed the engine we got out of the SUV, Esmeralda held my hand and knocked on the door her aunt Mary opened the door and led us inside. 

"Hi. aunt Mary, we came to see you, uncle Thomas and the babies." Esmeralda said happily. 

"It's so good to see Esmeralda and Chris." Mrs. Sky replied. 

Esmeralda and I walked inside the house her aunt gave me a hug Esmeralda walked into the living room I felt like Esmeralda's aunt could tell that I was nervous about something.
