Chapter 40

{Chris's POV} 

I was sitting in the front lounge having breakfast and watching TV with my brothers when I was finished eating, I washed up my cereal bowl and spoon and sat back down on the couch and finished watching South Park. 

"Chris, have you told Esmeralda where you're taking her?" Ghost asked. 

"No, I want it to be a surprise." I said. 

"I can't believe that Jamie, Kylie, and Esmeralda are all still asleep." 

"Esmeralda was restless last night." 

I got up off the couch and walked towards the bunks I crawled inside of my bunk and snuggled with Esmeralda, she rolled over and draped her leg across me I wrapped my arm around her she laid her head on my chest. When Esmeralda woke up, she leaned up and kissed me I brushed the back of my finger against her cheek causing her to blush. 

"Morning babe." Esmeralda said. 

"Morning baby." I replied. 

"What are we doing today since you and the guys have the day off?" 

"I have a surprise for you this afternoon." 

"You know I don't like surprises." She explained. 

"I know you don't, but this surprise is worth it I promise but all I will tell you is to pack extra clothes and your bag of toiletries." I said. 

I crawled out of the bunk Esmeralda crawled out of the bunk and kissed me I packed my bag for this afternoon and walked back into the front lounge and played NHL with Ryan, Esmeralda joined us on the couch and watched us play. Later that afternoon Esmeralda and I grabbed our bags and left the tour bus we got into a cab on the way to my surprise for Esmeralda, I was starting to feel nervous about her not liking the surprise I leaned over and kissed her cheek. 

"Baby close your eyes and don't open them until I tell you too." 

Esmeralda closed her eyes when we arrived at her surprise, I paid the driver and grabbed our bags and helped Esmeralda out of the cab and led her into the hotel I walked up to the front desk and checked in the receptionist behind the desk handed me the key I helped Esmeralda into the elevator and pressed the button for the fourth floor. When the elevator opened to the fourth floor, I helped Esmeralda out of the elevator and led her up the hall to our room I unlocked the door and helped her inside I closed the door and locked it. 

"Babe can I open my eyes now?" Esmeralda asked. 

"Yes, you can open your eyes now." I replied. 

Esmeralda opened her eyes and looked around the hotel room she noticed a bouquet of red roses laying on the bed she walked over to me and threw her arms around my neck and kissed me I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me. 

"This is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me." 

"None of your past boyfriends ever surprised you?" 

Esmeralda looked at me and shook her head I leaned in and kissed her once more I grabbed the bouquet off the bed and handed the roses to her, she looked at me and blushed I kissed her cheek and sat down on the bed.  Esmeralda sat beside me I wrapped my arm around her waist she looked at me and smiled I brushed the back of my index finger against her cheek and made her blush. I kicked off my shoes and removed my leather jacket and laid down on the bed Esmeralda snuggled up beside me and kissed me. 

"Babe thank you for surprising me with a stay at this hotel it's nice to be alone with you." Esmeralda said. 

"Your more than welcome baby and it's nice to be alone with you as well." I said. 

"Are you hungry?" 

"A little bit." 

"I can order us room service." Esmeralda said. 

"Sounds good to me." I replied. 

Esmeralda and I sat down on the couch she grabbed the menu off the coffee table and snuggled up beside me we looked at the menu and both decided to get spaghetti Esmeralda phoned room service. When Esmeralda got off the phone, she looked at me and smiled I leaned in and kissed her we smiled against each other's lips she gently slid herself onto my lap. A few minutes later someone was knocking on the door Esmeralda climbed off my lap and opened the door it was room service I got up off the couch Esmeralda handed me my plate I sat down at the table she joined me at the table. When we were finished eating Esmeralda and I placed our plates outside in the hallway on a tray I grabbed the do not disturb sign and hung it on the doorknob I closed the door and locked it I heard Esmeralda taking a shower I walked into the bathroom and removed my clothes and joined her in the shower. 

"I was wondering if you were going to join me." 

"I enjoy bathing with you and besides you belong to me later." 

When Esmeralda and I were finished in the bathroom we sat down on the couch I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels and found South Park when South Park went off Esmeralda was channel surfing for something to watch and couldn't find anything she turned off the TV. Esmeralda and I climbed into bed and turned off the lamp we were listing to Marilyn Manson's Edge of the world on my phone. I leaned over and kissed her, her kisses were starting to get urgent her sleep set and my Joker pajama bottoms were laying on the floor I kissed Esmeralda's sweet spot on her neck and caused her to moan I kissed the hallow base of her throat. A few hours later we were lying beside each other trying to catch our breath Esmeralda and I grabbed our pajamas off the floor and put them back on we climbed back into bed I draped my arm across Esmeralda, she turned off the lamp we fell asleep.
