Chapter 11

{Esmeralda's POV} 

When I woke up, I noticed Chris wasn't in bed I got up out of bed and walked into the bathroom and saw Chris sitting in the bath tub I felt my cheeks get hot. 

"Morning baby." 

"Morning puddin I didn't know you were in the tub I thought you were downstairs." 

"Come join me." Chris said with a smile in his voice. 

I climbed into the tub with him, Chris leaned over and kissed me I felt the cool metal from his lip rings brush against my lips. When we were finished taking a bath Chris helped me out of the tub and handed me a towel, I took the towel and dried myself off I walked back into the bedroom I was standing in the closet in my bra and underwear looking for something to wear. I felt Chris wrap his arms around my waist he kissed my neck and held me close to him I kissed his cheek. 

"I don't know what I want to wear today." 

"What you have on now works." 

"Are you always this much of a flirt in the morning?" I asked teasingly. 

"I'm only a flirt to you, my love." Chris replied. 

I decided to wear a long sleeve Slipknot t-shirt, black skirt, black and white stripped tights I sat down on the bed and put on my black combat boots I walked over to Chris and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him we gazed into each other's eyes. 

"How did I get so lucky to have a guy like you in my life." 

"I ask myself the same question I am still wondering how did I get this lucky to have a woman like you in my life." 

Chris and I walked downstairs we walked into the kitchen I sat down at the table Chris turned on the coffee pot and joined me at the table he held both of my hands I looked into his sexy brown eyes and blushed. 

"I had the strangest dream about us last night in my dream you had this surprise Halloween themed birthday party. You and me were dancing when you got down on one knee and proposed to me." I said. 

"Did you say yes?" Chris asked. 

"Of course, I said yes." 

"Your coffin shaped ring comes today." 

I got up from the table and made the coffee I carried the mugs over to the table and sat back down at the table with Chris, I was tracing my finger around the rim of my mug Chris leaned over and kissed my cheek I looked at him and smiled. 

"Do you know who won the hockey game last night?" I asked. 

"You won baby." Chris replied. 

I was sitting on the leather couch in Chris's office while he worked, I untied my combat boots and put my feet up on the couch I grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and covered myself up Chris looked over at me and smiled. 

"I knew you were secretly a Flyers fan." 

"Hell would have to freeze over for that to happen I'm only using your Flyers blanket because I'm a little chilly." 

Someone was knocking on the door Chris left the room he came back into the room with a package Chris joined me on the couch and opened the package. He took out the ring box and opened it I held my hand out to him, Chris gently slid the coffin shaped ring onto my finger I leaned over and kissed him. 

"Do you like it?" Chris asked. 

"I love it and thank you so much for the ring my love." I said happily. 

"You're more than welcome baby." 

Chris wrapped his arms around me I snuggled into him and laid my head on his shoulder I covered us both up with the Flyers blanket and laid my head back down on his shoulder. Chris kissed my forehead and held me close my cellphone was ringing I grabbed my phone and answered it. 

"Hi. aunt Mary." I said happily.

"Hi. Sweet pea are you busy?" aunt Mary asked. 

"No, I'm not busy I'm just snuggling with Chris." 

"I have exciting news!!" 

"What's the exciting news?" I asked. 

"Since I can't have children uncle Thomas and I have adopted newborn twin girls!!" aunt Mary exclaimed.

"I am so happy for you and uncle Thomas I can't wait to meet the babies when they arrive." I said cheerfully. 

When I got off the phone, I looked up at Chris he was sleeping I snuggled into Chris and took a nap with him when I woke up, he was starting to wake up I kissed his cheek and left his office. I walked into the kitchen and started cooking dinner I felt Chris wrap his arms around my waist he kissed my cheek I felt my cheeks get warm. 

"Who was on the phone?" 

"Aunt Mary called me with some exciting news." 

"What kind of exciting news?" Chris asked confused. 

"My aunt and uncle have adopted two newborn twin girls for some reason my aunt cannot conceive so her and my uncle decided to adopt." I explained. 

"Do you think that could be us one day?" 

"I would like that to be us one day." 

Later on, that night Chris and I were snuggling in bed listening to Misfits playing on Chris's stereo I was starting to nod off Chris turned off the stereo and held me closer we went to sleep.
