Chapter 45

{Esmeralda's POV} 

When I woke up, I climbed out of bed and ran into the bathroom and got sick I flushed the toilet and sat on the floor with my cheek resting on the rim of the bathtub I heard Chris get out of bed he opened the bathroom door and knelt down in front of me. 

"Are you okay?" 

"No, I am dealing with a bit of morning sickness." 

I crawled back over to the toilet and got sick I flushed the toilet and rinsed my mouth out Chris and I left the bathroom he helped me back into bed and covered me up he kissed my cheek and walked downstairs Binx, and Creature came into the bedroom and jumped up onto the bed and curled up beside me.

"Baby have you seen Binx and Creature?" Chris called. 

"They are curled up on the bed with me." I said. 

Chris came into the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed he kissed my cheek I looked at him and smiled he climbed into bed with me I snuggled up beside him, Chris wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest. 

"Instead of us telling everyone that we're expecting I was thinking we could send out a group text because I am really not feeling good, and I just want to rest." 

"I don't mind sending out a group text to tell everyone that we're expecting." 

Chris grabbed his phone and sent the group text I climbed out of bed and got dressed I walked into the bathroom when I was finished in the bathroom, I walked downstairs I walked into the living room and sat beside Chris. 

"Everyone said congrats. Are you hungry?" He asked. 

"A little. Can I please have some toast?" I replied. 

Chris and I walked into the kitchen I sat down at the kitchen table I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist he looked at me and smiled he leaned down and kissed me I smiled and kissed him. Chris and I sat down at the table and had breakfast together when I was finished eating, I washed up my plate and walked into the living room I sat down on the couch Chris came into the living room and joined me on the couch. 

"Have you thought of what you would like to name our daughter?" 

"I like the name Raven a lot, but I also like the name Annabel as well." 

"I like the name Raven more than Annabel, but I know where those names come from." Chris said with a smile. 

"I always wanted to have a daughter one day and name her Raven." I replied. 

Chris and I stretched out on the couch he grabbed his Tampa Bay Lightning blanket off the back of the couch and covered us up Chris wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest he kissed my forehead I fell asleep. When I woke up Chris was still asleep, I softly kissed him and laid my head on his chest when he woke up, he kissed my forehead I looked up at him and smiled. 

"How are you feeling my love?" 

"Better than I did this morning hopefully the morning sickness won't last to long." 

Chris and I walked into the kitchen I started cooking dinner while he fed Binx and Creature, Chris wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek I looked at him and smiled I kissed him. 

"I can't believe that I wasn't going to make your wish come true for you to be a mother." Chris said.

"You seem really excited about becoming a father and I'm freaking out about becoming a mother." I explained.

"Why are you freaking out?" 

"I'm afraid of treating our daughter like my mother did me." 

Later on, that night Chris and I were lying in bed listening to the radio My Chemical Romance was playing I snuggled up next to Chris and laid my head on his chest he kissed my head I fell asleep.
