Chapter 28

{Chris's POV} 

I was sitting at my desk in my office when Esmeralda came in, she walked over to the leather couch and sat down I got up from my desk and joined her on the couch I wrapped my arm around her. 

"I can tell by the look on your face that something is on your mind." I said. 

"I was thinking since we still have the decorations from our wedding when we got married on my birthday, we could reuse the decorations because I've been thinking I don't want to get married at the courthouse I would like an actual wedding if that's okay with you." Esmeralda explained nervously. 

I could tell this really meant a lot to Esmeralda to have an actual wedding instead of getting married at the courthouse like we originally wanted to do, and I wanted to make her happy. 

"We can have a wedding." 

"I did find a dress that I would like to get married in at Hot Topic." 

"Let me guess a Nightmare Before Christmas inspired dress." I said teasingly. 

"You know me so well." Esmeralda replied with a smile. 

Esmeralda and I left my office we walked into the kitchen I turned on the coffee pot and sat on the counter and watched Esmeralda cook breakfast she looked at me and smiled I leaned over and kissed her. 

"Baby, we can plan our wedding the way we want." 

"I know the perfect song we can dance to as our first dance as husband and wife." 

"What song do you have in mind?" I asked. 

"We could dance to Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls, or we could use your cover version of the song." Esmeralda replied. 

"I think we should go with the original version." 

I hopped down from the counter and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek she was blushing I love making her blush I kissed her cheek once more and made us coffee. 

"Baby do we need wedding invitations?" I asked. 

"Yeah, we need wedding invitations and party favors to leave for the guests at the reception." Esmeralda said. 

"Sounds easy enough." 

"I was going to ask Ryan Ashley, Kylie and Jamie if they would like to be bride's maids, but I would like Ryan Ashley to be matron of honor since I know her better." 

After breakfast Esmeralda and I walked into my office and planned our wedding I looked over at Esmeralda, she was writing out a guest list I noticed she didn't include her parents on the guest list. 

"Honey, you can invite your parents to our do over wedding." I said. 

"I know but I don't want a repeat of what my parents did when we got married on my birthday." Esmeralda explained. 

"It's okay to invite your parents to our wedding." 

"I'll invite them." 

I left my office to check on Binx and Creature they were curled up on the couch sound asleep I walked back into my office and Esmeralda wasn't there I left my office and walked upstairs to our room Esmeralda was putting on her jacket. 

"Where are you going?" I asked. 

"We need to find a priest to marry us." Esmeralda replied. 

Esmeralda handed me my leather jacket I put on my jacket and grabbed my wallet, phone, and keys we walked downstairs and left the house Esmeralda and I walked down to the SUV, we climbed into the SUV, I put the key in the ignition and started the engine and drove away. I felt really nervous about meeting with a priest because many priests know who I am from my band, and they don't really like me, and my brothers Esmeralda must have sensed my uneasy she leaned over and kissed my cheek.
