Part 7: Heavy Heart

95 20 9

It feels like I'm in the middle of the ocean.
Are you just another hallucination?
A sea-water induced mirage?

Perhaps you're the rescue boat,
Sent to save this heavy heart.

Oh,what a horror,
What a shame.
This is all much to clichè.

Don't you see?
This is all part of a game.

A game none could win,
For this heavy heart,
Was meant to swim.

The last tears for my broken years,
Escape my eyes.

Maybe I should leave this heavy heart behind,
To drift in this salty ocean I have cried.

And to my next destination,
I shall soar.
Leaving behind this empty shore.
