Part 17:Stay Strong "RAP"

I kinda wrote this to be a rap because.. I'm bored with my life?...

"Be strong ,
Keep your head held high."
I promise,
I really will try.

But how can I stay strong,
When I'm barely holding on?
My sanity is questionable,
These days are too long.

Like a thin thread,
Tied to a weight.
One more ounce,
I certainly will breAk.

Stay strong,
You say?
But how?
How does one stay strong when they're wilting like a flower?

Bruised and broken,
With a smile on my face.
Not sadistic,
Just part of the human race.

Stay strong?
That's the advice they give.
But they never told me,
The vice like grip pain has in this.

Once it gets you,
It's never letting go.
But stay strong ,
They tell you.
Like it's changing the channel,
To a different TV show.

I will stay strong,
As long as I can.
But when I can't anymore?
What advice will they give then.

You see staying strong,
That's unrealistic.
Everyone breaks,
It's part of the statistics.

We stumble,
We break.
And staying strong?
That's fake.

I'm going to let you in on a secret.
It's not about staying strong,
It's about becoming strong.
Because we're not all strong to begin with.

Like a diamond ,
In the rough.
Under pressure,
We become tough.

So for now,
I'll take the pressure.

They'll tell me to stay strong,
I'll smile and agree.
This diamond in the rough,
She'll make,you'll see.

And I'll keep my head up,
And take the heat.

I know it's okay not to be strong all the time,
I'm a pragmatist and I do realise,
Pain is real.
It demands to be felt.

Fake it till you make it.
That's there's some real advice.

And one day when someone tells you to be tough,
You'll stay strong and be able to mean it for once .
