"Let's go, Hun. You're going to be late!" I call out to Miguel as I pack his lunchbox. He comes speeding out of the room as his backpack and its contents bounce behind him.
"Momma, don't forget my banana milk!" He reminds me.
"Yes, I placed it in your lunchbox. Do you have everything for school?" I ask him. He nods and grabs his lunchbox. "Okay, let's go then."
A couple months later, I've gotten Miguel into school and settled in my jobs. I've assisted JYP here and there anonymously and he has helped me with so much more. Sadly, recently JB has gotten an injury and being as I can help with my credentials JYP has appointed me to assist him. With all of his upcoming schedules, bringing him back to good health is a major priority.
The members still don't know much about my association with the company and my appointments with JB have been confidential and private meaning they are not allowed to visit him during our sessions.
Since they've been having schedules and events overseas they haven't been around lately, we have been able to meet more freely. Only a few people know about me in the company so we usually go to my clinic or something.
"Have fun, Miguel! I'll pick you up later okay?" I say as we approach his school. We get off the bus and I walk him to the gate. I crouch and fix his sweater. "Make sure you listen to your teacher and participate, okay?"
"NE!" He says happily. "Komawoyo!"
"Waah, Miguel jjang!" I cheer him on.
"Hwaiting!" He holds up a fist.
"Hwaiting," I chuckle. I nudge him in and he waves as he walks in. I wave and watch till he enters the building. After knowing he's safe inside I call JB.
"Jaebum!" I sing once he answers.
"Annyeong!" He greets just as happily. "Did you just drop off Miguel?"
"Yeah, where are you?" I ask as I make my way to the bus stop.
"At the company. Should I meet you at your clinic?" He asks me. The bus arrives and I settle in before I reply.
"No, no. I'll meet you there. I have something to hand in. Meet me at the lobby. I'll just drop it off at the desk," I tell him.
"Okay, are you on your way?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm on the bus already," I tell him. I lean my head against the window and watch the buildings and scenery pass by.
"Are you really going to commute by bus all the time?" He asks me.
"For now, you say this every time. It's the cheapest and the easiest way for me to learn my way around. It's interesting. I never really road the bus in the states so it's different for me," I explain to him. He hums in thought.
"Well, if you ever want, I can help you get your license here. I mean I can't personally help you, but Wooyoung hyung can teach you. He drives well, I don't think it's that different from the states either," he suggests.
"Thanks, but then I'd have to buy a car. Maybe if I make more money or something. I'm almost there I think. Maybe three more stops?" I tell him.
"Okay, I'll just finish up here and head down to the lobby," he says.
"No, no! No need to rush. If you're in the studio I'll wait for you. No need to rush," I deny him.
"Well, an extra set of ears would be helpful. Come up to the studio. I'm in room 3," he tells me.
"Will it be okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, I'll let them know to let you in," he says.
"Okay, I'm about to get off. I'll see you there," I say.
