"Do you have to leave right away?" Mark groans as we are laying on his couch.

"This wasn't a vacation, you know that," I tell him as I trace the lettering of his shirt. It was after KCON and I had one day rest before flying back home. They boys had vacation time and all spent it at different places. Today, it was just us. We made it a lazy day and even though everyone wanted us to go out, we opted for a quieter day.

"I wish we could take a vacation together," he sighs. I hug his torso and smile.

"You guys are still at your prime. You have comebacks coming and a lot more projects to come. When you guys actually have a moment of rest, then maybe we can," I tell him.

"Come when we eat out for my birthday?" He asks. I nod and look up at him. I smile at him and he kisses my forehead.

"I can't believe you chose to fly out the night before your birthday. You're really going to spend it in the air?" I realize. "You're going to lose the day."

"The day isn't important," he smiles at me. He brushes some loose strands of hair away from my face and cups my cheek in his hand. "Whether I am here or in the air, I won't be with you. I can celebrate when I see you. I wasn't even able to really celebrate your birthday."

"That's not important," I shake my head. "You were out there making money."

"They still could have at least given me the night off to have dinner," he pouts. I smile and kiss his jutted lip. It retracts and is pulled to a small smile. "We haven't spent one good birthday together since we saw each other again."

"One day, Mark. There will be a time where we can spend every holiday, every celebration- even those that we don't even religiously celebrate- together. We just have to wait for that," I say to him. He brushes his thumb at my cheek and I turn into it as I put a hand over it and kiss his palm.

"Would you ever be okay with being known publicly?" he suddenly asks. I look into his eyes and see the seriousness in his question.

"I like my privacy," I start. I sit up and he adjusts himself as we face each other. "I see how crazy it is with you guys going from point A to point B. I know Miguel is growing up and is fully capable of handling it. The girls do it well and even Somi's little sister, Evelyn, enjoys the attention. It's easy starting young. There's time to prepare. My face has been broadcasted before, but it was never a focus. I'm worried once I do become a focus that everything will change."

I pause for a moment and Mark doesn't speak. He waits for me to continue.

"I know things will change. I know being with you will change that. I know all of these things, but I am hesitant. It's a totally different lifestyle," I sigh. "I know I'm in the entertainment business through my radio show. There will be a time where I need to promote. I will need to promote further than just having a booth at KCON and being an MC - which no one pays attention to."

"If I saw you at a booth or as an MC, I'd pay attention. Heck, I'd try anything to get the chance to see you," Mark tries to sweet talk. I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"You don't count," I lightly hit his arm. He gasps and over does it with a hand to his chest.

"What?" he asks appalled. "I don't count?!"
