"Waaah! Uncle Mawk! Uncle Mawk! That was so cool!" Miguel raves as he runs up the stage. Mark raises him high and twirls him.
"Wanna be like uncle Mark?" Miguel nods enthusiastically and Mark laughs along with the others.
"Noona! How were we!?" BamBam asks as I stand at the bottom of the stage.
"Amazing! It was really amazing!" I give them two thumbs up and the cheer excitedly. "I can't wait for the real thing!"
"Hopefully nobody makes mistakes," Jr. comments referring to the two people who had made the most mistakes during their practices.
"You guys will be great. Don't worry about it," I reassure them before they rant off defensively.
"Noona, why don't you come up on stage?" Youngjae asks. I shrug. "Come, so you're comfortable."
"I'm comfortable down here," I state but still make my way into the stage. "Wow, this place is huge."
I look all around as I reach the stage. I forgot how much bigger everything seems once you're on stage. Their songs begin to play as they do a sound check.
"Noona, you know our songs?" BamBam asks coming up to me.
"I've heard all of them, why?"
"Do you know the words? Or the dances?" He asks with excitement.
"No, sorry. I just know them from my show. I mean I've bought the album and everything but I don't listen to it much. Sorry, guys." I look at everyone apologetically as they all have dimmed expressions.
"Let's teach her Stop, Stop, Stop It!" Yugyeom proposes. Everyone agrees and Jackson comes up to me and shows me the key points of their dance.
"It's easy," he finishes.
"Uhm...it's a bit- how do I say this? It's a bit wavy?" I say after watching the amount of body waves were in just those few moves.
"You can do it, Noona! You were able to dance like that last year!" BamBam encourages.
"I'll do it with you." Marks voice startles me as he comes up from behind me. I nod at him and when the chorus comes again I look at him as I mimic the movements- quite awkwardly might I add. "You can do better than that, Chris."
The others were laughing and he was trying to hold his laughter. I purse my lips and tuck my hair behind my ear in annoyance.
"Stooooop! I'm not familiar with the dance," I whine.
"One more time? It's coming up." Everyone goes to position as Mark brings me near him. The chorus comes up again and I'm determined to do it correctly this time to avoid the mocking. "There you go, Chris!"
"See! I just needed to familiarize myself!" I defend glaring at them.
"You were great, Noona," JB comments and we smile at each other.
"Thanks JB!" I give him a side hug to show my gratitude.
"Noona, we should do a dance duet. It'd look awesome if we did!" Jr. comments wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
"That'd be so cool! I'd like that!" I smile as I see him smile. I honestly really love his smile. It's one that you just have to smile to.
"I want to dance with, Noona!" BamBam whines.
"Too late, BamBam. Jr. called dibs," I say wrapping my arm around his waist as his stays on my shoulders. Jr. sticks out his tongue childishly and I laugh.
