"So just before the break we were discussing the interesting topic of Korea's We Got Married with Cho Seho and Cao Lau and China's We Got Married with Song Jihyo and Chen Bo Lin. Some of you guys are supporters cheering them on while others are totally against it. And then there are those who I find hilarious," I say as I read some of the comments. "Some of you are going off naming your own desired pairing."
I look up and see that they want me to list some of them.
"Let's see, we've got Jackji with Jackson of GOT7 and former Kara member Youngji. Jinji with Eunji of Apink and Jin of BTS. Oh my gosh why am I in some of these?" I read my name paired with multiple people, but a majority of them were Cark. "Cark, I think you guys can figure that one out. Aron Kwak? Seriously? I met the guy like twice, but I guess some have never even met who they were paired with. Haha oh my gosh, Ravi! Oh Ravi, he's a good man. He deserves a good woman."
I talk a little more with the listeners before cutting to a commercial. I sigh and run a hand through my hair before going back on my phone to find another job. Just a few hours ago she was given the notice of being laid-off at the clinic. Apparently there was a budget cut and since my contract was the newest and I've missed out on so many days, they decided I was the best choice to fire.
There were very few options, but none of them paid as well and didn't seem to have good working conditions. I needed to find a job soon. The money saved can only last so long. Miguel is in school and I have to provide for the two of us. I haven't really asked my parents for financial help since I've graduated and I don't want to start now. Going over the list for the nth time I groan and lock my phone facing it down as if it's mocking me.
I hear the commercials near its end and I attempt to get into character. Maybe I should be an actor- nah. That's a terrible choice.
"You know, listening to this song reminds me of my trip to Korea! You guys all know about that right? I hope you guys have seen the interview with VIXX! If you haven't it's on our website along with some pictures behind the scenes." I say. "It was so cold over there! Such different weather than here in California. Definitely was not mentally prepared for that. I forget that there are places with accurately timed weather and season."
I read a message saying there was a surprise caller. Again?
"Speaking of unpreparedness and surprises, we have a surprise caller everyone. Hello?" I click the flashing light and the call was put though.
"Hello!" A somewhat familiar voice chirps through the line.
"So you're our special caller tonight. Is there anything you want to share with all of us to give us hints about your identity?" I ask.
"Hello, everyone. I like long walks on the beach and picnics at parks- just kidding, sort of. I do enjoy picnics at parks. Walking on the beach is overrated-"
"Guys, this is my friend from Korea. You guys might know him. If you follow me and my adventures in Korea you'll know I had an interview with him. Why don't you introduce yourself correctly this time," I say cutting him off from babbling.
"Haha you figured me out. Hello, again everyone. I'm Aron Kwak from NU'EST. Please support us and listen to us! We just made a comeback!" He tells the viewers. "How'd you know it was me, CT?"
"I just did, Aron. You've got this vibe that just screams you," I joke. "Now why don't you tell all of us why you are calling today?"
"Well, like I said earlier, we just made a comeback," he starts and with a pouty voice he continues with, "and I missed you."
"Hah, missed you, too. Are you with the other members?" I ask.
"No, they're practicing," he says simply
