Following Tali

31 - This isn't the end

That night Tony made a quick dinner for the girls then put them to bed and stayed up waiting for Ziva to get back, after four hours of waiting he got up and went to bed himself.

It must have been over an hour later he heard the shower turn on, then off and felt Ziva crawl into bed next to him
"Where were you" he asked wrapping his arm tightly around her
"I was running" she sighed
"The whole time, did you eat" he looked at her
"I will tomorrow" she moved as close to him as she could
"Not good enough Zi what do you want" he asked her starting to sit up
"I don't want anything" she smiled at his cuteness
"Are you sure" he checked slowly laying back down
"Yes I'm sure just lay with me" she smiled readjusting herself against him
"Okay, goodnight beautiful" he whispered kissing her head and closing his eyes.

They woke up the next morning to hear Tali and Kai arguing about what tv channel to watch. Ziva groaned and got up to sort them out
"Tali, Kai, what's going on" she asked or demanded glaring at the girls
"She won't put my show on" Kai crossed her arms glaring back at Ziva then at Tali
"She won't shut up so I can hear my show" Tali moaned
"Well neither of you are watching either of your shows go get a swimming costume and clothes" She pushed them out the door towards their room, as soon as Tali opened her mouth again Ziva interrupted and told them to go in silence.

They came back each with a pair of shorts, a shirtsleeved top and a costume
"Go to abba, he will get you ready" she pointed in the direction of her room.

Tony got the girls ready then brought them out to Ziva who was changed herself, she had a black bikini and a short cover up, Tony wore a pair of grey swim shorts and a white top. The girls wore identical blue denim shorts but Tali had a purple top and a matching swim suit and Kai had a pink top and pink swim suit.

They met with all the others and set off to the local pool for the day, the main pool was a good size and there was a kiddie pool with a slide and water sprayers, there was a cute little restaurant area on one side then the other was a view out to the sea and there where blue sunbeds dotted around the pool. Tony and Ziva took the girls to a group of 4 sunbeds and let the girls play around a bit. Everyone else sat in their families around the pool. Each family had their own area around the pool but they all met in the pool and merged anyway,

The girls were playing with a couple of shopkins Tony let them bring so they wouldn't annoy Ziva as much
"Abba can we go in the water please" Tali asked after only a couple minutes playing
"Sure but stay together" Tony said pulling Ziva onto his sunbed
"What, Tony" she snapped trying to shrug him off
"just wanted you here" he smiled pulling her down and into a hug
"Sorry" she smiled, they sat on the one sunbed for at least half an hour until Victoria and Olivia came over giggling
"Where's Tali and Kai" Olivia asked them, Olivia was wearing a cute red swim suit with white polka dots and a small frilly skirt, and Victoria was wearing a pale turquoise swim suit with little cherries dotted everywhere and a couple layers of frills on her chest.
"They're over there in the pool" Ziva pointed as the two youngest girls ran off, after a couple minutes Olivia took Victoria back to Ellie to play leaving the twins alone in the pool.

It didn't take long for them to start fighting again so Ziva stormed over to them and dragged them back to the sunbeds
"What were you doing" Ziva demanded as soon as she sat them down
"She took my shopkins" Kai groaned
"Only because she has mine" Tali fought back, the girls had a short argument before Ziva interrupted them again
"What did I tell you about the shopkins" Ziva sat down next to Tony opposite the girls"to share them" Tali asked hopefully, she didn't want to annoy her Ima anymore than. She had already
"I did say that but I don't mean that" "I told you not to take them in the water" Ziva grumbled, she knew if either of them lost a toy in the pool they would end up in tears
"Sorry Ima" Tali apologised walking to her sunbed, picking up the rest of her shopkins then sitting back on her sunbed in silence
"Thank you Tali" Ziva tried not to smile but she was on the inside, Tali was learning what she had to do when she didn't obey the rules.

Ziva had to put more force into Kai but she sat on her sunbed with little fuss, Ziva laid back to relax. There was a timer on her phone that would let her know when to go back to the girls.

After 5 minutes the timer went off, she looked around, Tony was next to her on his sunbed fast asleep and the girls where gone. Ziva sat up and ran over to Abby who hadn't seen the girls then to Gibbs who thought he might have seen them in the pool again. Luckily for Ziva they where there. A very grumpy Ziva took them back to the sunbeds and put them back in their timeout, this time they both put up a huge fight about it, they wanted to be enjoying their holiday n0t glued to sunbeds.

"I don't think I can keep doing this.
Tony" Ziva sighed the girls had done their time and where playing with Grandpa Gibbs
"do what" Tony asked he hoped she wouldn't say the girls
"The girls, our family, it's too much" she stood up but Tony stopped her
"This isn't the End" he hugged her again, it was clear to him he would need to step in for the girls a lot more so Ziva would be able to get some rest and relaxation from this holiday.

But he also knew he was right, this wasn't the end.
