Logan was sitting on the edge of the large window in the hall,

"What are you thinking about?" I ask, making him jump,

"Oh, nothing. Well....actually something"

"Go on," I say sitting next to him,

"Alex, I'm scared," Bingo. Now to ease the plan in,

"Why are you scared? Do you not think the plan will work?"

"No, it's not that. I'm just scared of dying, after surviving this whole time, we'll have no chance against them and I'll just end up dying in vain"

"Maybe we should think of a smarter plan then," I put in, cautiously,

"What?" he said looking up. Shit. 'Alex, not too fast,' I told myself in my head,

"I'm scared too. But sometimes don't you think the outcomes of a new plan would be successful? I mean, Bek is just putting us in our graves. It's a suicide mission!"

He thought for a while, but didn't say anything. I could tell he was thinking about it,

"Well, if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here," I get up and walk out to see Will, "So?"

"I got nothing out of him, yet. But he's considering it. Don't push him, he'll come to us, you'll see"

Will and I spent the afternoon in my room, "I can't believe it. What did I tell you about destiny?" He laughed. His laugh was light and it made his chest move as my head leaned against it,

"Well we found each other. But the amnesia, was really selective. It left small memories, but took out the big ones. This morning I got another memory back. I went to Hawaii for summer with my parents and...Dylan"

"Who's Dylan?"

"My brother. He was taken by Craig"

"Do you know how my sister died?"

"How?"

"My sister, Candice, was three, when she died. She fell into a pond at the back of our house and drowned. I could have helped her, but I wasn't watching. My mom was inside making lunch and I helped organise dad's fishing gear when he was away. When I came out, I saw her in the water, trying to keep her head up, but it was too deep, and she was gasping and choking. I was only six and when I saw her I was too scared to know what to do, so I just ran to my mother and when she scrambled out there, it was too late," He looked down at me, his eyes teary,

"Will it isn't your fault, you couldn't have done anymore than you did," I sit up and held his face in one of my hands and he leaned into it. I sat in his lap and hugged him. Many people lost their loved ones in tragic ways, but some you can't blame Craig for.
