Walking through the door that evening, I felt the tension in the room. Everyone was quietly pacing, mumbling to themselves.

Max sat at the corner table with Will talking about something concernedly, Demi looked flustered as she quietly shook her head as Logan spoke, clearly disagreeing on something. Bek was there too, his expression stern and still. Everyone else was just quiet. I cautiously approached Will and put my hand on his shoulder which made him jump, "Alex, where were you?" he asked getting up as Max just looked at me stiffly,

"What happened?" I ask,

"Craig happened. Some of the mutants were patrolling the area and caught Rodriguez's team when they were scavenging"

I look around and only then did I notice the five that were missing, "You mean, they got caught?"

"They're going to get the truth out of them, they'll know where we are"

"What do you mean?"

"They'll torture them until they speak, and they'll take us all out if they know our location," he sighed, "And that's not all"

"The cars are gone" Max finally put in,

I almost choked and I found myself coughing dryly, "WHAT!" I exclaimed sitting opposite Max as Will sat beside me, "But what about the...plan?" I whisper, "How are we going to get there?!"

"We'll go to Simon and Connor tomorrow morning, they'll figure it out"

"Do you trust them? I mean, how do they know what they know? It's like they have camera's everywhere"

"Can't be cameras, no electricity"

"But how?"

"They mentioned something about an inside-man"

"Who do you think it is?" I say looking around,

"I guess we'll find out"

Bek watched our sniper team leave the next morning. We had to go to the brothers, but how could we with Calvin? Demi and Max's team continued their normal training routine. We were split up and we were under surveillance. And once we were clear of Bek's watch, Cal said something that made it worse, "Guys, we have to stick together today unlike last time, especially after last night's incident"

Wait.

Last night.

Dylan.

I groaned a little too loud, and Cal heard,

"Is there a problem Rookie?"

"Uh, n-no, last night's event was quite unfortunate, you're right," I say quickly. Dylan was still in that building, another thing to worry about.

We walked around the area for half an hour trying to find a spot we hadn't scavenged yet and that's when Cal came across the subway.

"Follow me," he said starting to head down it,

"NO!" I yelled quickly and he turned with a start, "You-you can't go down there...um... we've already checked it and there's... nothing there"

"We have?"

"Uh, yeah...that day"

"We should check again, just in case," he said suspiciously,

And before any of us could stop him, he was already halfway down the steps. Crap.

I hesitated and then followed, Will and Logan behind me.

Once I reached the bottom and was engulfed by the darkness, I switched my torch on and almost screamed in shock as Simon, Connor, and Calvin stood in front of me staring at us,

What Simon said next was even more shocking,

"Meet your inside-man"
