A few days apart from Luke has done me some good. I thought about everything and I understand that what he did was wrong but I know he really does care for me.. And I honestly love him..

I'm finishing my shift up at the café and then heading back home to Luke and I's apartment after tonight's shift instead of momma's.

It's 9:45 and my shift seems like it's dragging on forever..

Luke will be home around 10:15 if he goes straight home from work. I should be able to be home by 10:30 if I push myself..

We're closed for the night, my tips counted and I'm ready to lock up for the night..

I walk out to my truck and hurried home as fast as I could. That black Chevy was sitting in the driveway right were I figured it would be.. I haven't talked to Luke since the day he left my moms. He's tried calling, texting and even coming by the house but I just wanted time apart. I honestly miss him.

I grabbed my bags and got everything situated in my truck for work tomorrow. I put my apron behind my passenger seat and my shoes on the floorboard, my paperwork for the daycare in the morning laid out neatly on the passenger seat, once I was satisfied with everything I got out of the truck and slowly walked to the door. It was unlocked so I walked in slowly.

I didn't hear anything but the tv at first then I made my way to the kitchen placing my phone and keys down and I walked towards the bedroom and I heard the shower water running.

I walked in the bedroom and sat my bags down quietly.. Taking a deep breath I opened the bathroom door quietly and walked in..

"Luke?" I sighed

"Kaelyn?" He hollered flinging the shower curtain open reviling his nude self.

"You're home!" He smiled brightly wrapping a towel around himself.

I smiled and he wrapped me in his arms.

"Hi Luke" I giggled

"I missed you so much so so much" he tightened his hold on me and I wrapped my arms around him.

"I missed you too Luke"

"I tried talking to you but you refused" he said sadness in his voice

"I know I'm sorry baby but I'm here now" I smiled and kissed his chest.

He pushed my head up looking into his brown eyes I smiled and he slowly leaned down and kissed me. So much heart filled passion in one short Kiss.. He left me wanting more.. I sighed and pushed myself away from him.

He looked at me with a questioning look

"Finish your shower and we'll talk" I said and pecked his lips once more.

Luke

I'm so happy she's back. It's so unexpected.. I don't know how to tell her how sorry I am and how much I love her.. She won't believe me if I tell her.. I sighed

I finished my shower and quickly put on some sweat pants leaving my waist up nude and my hair dripping wet.

I walked into the kitchen and noticed she had found her food.. Every night for the last five night I brought her food home and myself just in case she decided to come back home.. And she finally did.

I smiled and leaned down kissing her cheek, she flushed.

I went and grabbed my food joining her back on the couch we sat in comfortable silence and them she turned to look at me after she finished her food.

"Okay" shy stated and then didn't know what else to say..

"I'm sorry I really am" I said

"I know Luke it's okay I get it. I love you" she blurted out

"I love you too"

She sighed

"The last five days have been living hell" she said softly "learning to sleep without strong arms around me, goodnight kisses, good morning kisses, hugs, sex, everything Luke.. I missed you."

I looked at her confused.

"You're the one that left" I whispered

She turned to me

"Because I had to Luke" "what would you have done if that would have been me?" She questioned

That's easy "go kill that guy" I mumbled

"Exactly Luke. I was the bigger person and walked away. I had to know if you actually loved me"

"Kaelyn I love you more than I love anything is this world" I said scooting closer to her.

"My mom brought that to my attention, she said if you didn't then you wouldn't have stopped that situation from going any further"

"And I should've stopped before it ever happened" I said sternly kicking myself for not doin so

"Okay Luke that's enough of the sluts next door"

I grinned and leaned in to kiss her. Our tongues dancing together slowly and passionately I pulled her into my lap and ran my fingers through her hair. I missed this girl so much, there's inky one way I know how to show her just how much I love and want her. I picked her up our lips still locked together and carried her to the bedroom carefully laying her across our bed.

Her arms wrapped around my neck and running through my hair as I kissed down her neck unbuttoning her work shirt.. She was burning with desire just as I was..
