Luke moved to Nashville a few months ago it's late now August now and we're getting ready for my gender revel party now.. Luke is suppose to be getting to town this evening so we have to wait until he gets here to revel anything..

I haven't seen him since that day on mamas front porch, I've texted him a few times since then about baby updates and such.. but today will be the first time I've seen him in months.

I sighed as I finished setting the table cloths on the few tables we had.. Momma Bryan custom made them, half pink half blue out of bandanas they were adorable. I set the two bowls of m&ms on the table that we had custom ordered blue an pink with G or B on them.. everything was setting up nicely, the weather was perfect and the food smelled amazing.

My mom insisted on doing fajitas because that's what she was craving and I didn't argue it sounded good to me. It was 4:30pm. And the party started at 5. I hadn't heard from Luke yet today so I have no idea when he would be here, hopefully he wasn't to late.

We had the cake and then I figured when it gets dark Luke would wrap me In lights and plug them in and I'll light up Blue or Pink..

"Honey you better go get ready!" Momma hollered from the porch

"I'm coming!" I said and finished the last table.

I went upstairs and got in the shower and washed my hair as fast as I could. Afterwards I blow dried it and then went to find the dress momma bought for me to wear tonight. It was a white casual dress not to dressy but not to casual but it fit the occasion.

My phone buzzed and it was Luke 'I'll be there by 5:45 I'm at mamas taking a shower' is what his text said. I replied with a a simple okay and then finished getting ready. My hair was curled at the ends, I applied light makeup and the perfume Luke got me for our last anniversary. It was crazy to think we were over but at the same time I was a lot happier now.

His music career had taken off and he was starting to tour already. Nashville loved him because he could dedicate all his time to work. Which I'm really happy for him I just hope he finds time for our little one. We both needed to sit town and have a long talk..

Luke

I pulled up to mamas house it had been a while since I've been here and seen everyone. Music has taken a lot of my time but it's finally starting to pay off.

I parked the truck and grabbed my bag and walked in the house. I hadn't seen momma since the night she slapped me and I was expecting another slap as soon as I saw her.. and truth be told I deserved it.

"Momma I'm home" I hollered

"In here Luke! It's about time you got here!"

I walked in and found her in the kitchen she was finishing up a batch of cookies. She was already dressed and ready to go. I smiled when she looked up at me.

"Oh honey it's so good to see you again" she came and wrapped me in a hug.

"It's been too long" I whispered hugging her tightly.

"Now go get ready you're gonna be late to your own baby party" she shooed me away.

I walked downstairs to my old room and text Kj real fast before jumping in the shower. Momma had me a white shirt laid out on the bed along with a nice pair of Jeans. I jumped in the shower and washed off quickly and then started getting dressed. I dried my hair and then put my cap back on.
