Warrior

To the ones who won't back down:

I will not be like the rest of the world
I refuse to go their way

I will not be like the rest of the world
No matter what they say

I will fight for what is right and abash the wrong
Because I am a warrior and therefore I am strong

I won't give in
I won't bow down
To earths very foolish ways

Instead I'll draw my sword
And my enemies I shall slay

So hear me when I tell you
What I say is true

This sword I have is sharp
It will not go askew

I have been fighting all my life
Yes, since I was small
A warrior I was born; when I heard the call

The call for courage has blossomed, now
Deep within my chest
My spirit now is free, and I will do my best

For out across the land I go
Over hard mountains and dusty terrain

No matter what I face, I know
A warrior I shall remain

I will not be like the rest of the world
I refuse to go their way

I will not be like the rest of the world
No matter what they say.
