Simplicity

Simplicity is what I seek

And simplicity's what I'll find

When I lay down my complexities

That war inside my mind

Some within the world want fame

But I do not seek its gain

I only want to find life's meaning

And to hear the gentle rain

And when the spring flowers bloom

Tenderly upon the earth

I want to hear the robins tune

So happy, so full of mirth

Yes, simplicity is what I crave

It's simpleness, I love

Nothing fancy, yet still grand

Nothing unusual, yet still stunning

Nothing remarkable, yet still striking

Weaving a quiet magic

In our souls and in our land

Simplicity is all around us

Let it grab you by the hand.
