Compliments are little treasures
That I keep inside my heart
Never will I forget them
Never will they depart
Years later they'll still be there
Warm and loved and used
They'll always be a treasure
That I can never refuse
Some little treasures I like to share with others
And give them a sweet token
An offering of gratitude for all
Their kind devotion
Because compliments received
Are compliments that need returned
And some compliments not shared
Are compliments that are spurned.
