Like Dewdrops

Sometimes mercy comes quiet

Instead of a million clouds raining

Sometimes mercy comes quiet

Like the dewdrops in the morning

Soft and silent, they come

Slowly and gently, they fall

Upon our souls, so tenderly

Healing a pain that was tall

We thought it would never come

Ruined, we felt

Unloved and used

Now those feelings are gone

Mercy reigns, and deliverance comes

Within the breaking dawn

No more crying

No more sighing

For it is no longer night

Sing and laugh and dance

Feel happy and warm and bright

We are finally free, because

The dewdrops of mercy

Have fallen upon you and me.
