Book Friends

characters in books were her friends

when her real friends weren't there

they comforted her lonely heart

and had plenty of time to share

so she visited them quite frequently

and they didn't seem to care

for many lessons they taught,

and had many stories to tell

and it amazed her how she could learn so much

from people who were not real.
