Dear heart

Dear heart,

Here you go again

Catching feelings that probably won't be returned

Dear heart,

I've tried to warn you

But you never listen

Because you seem to have a mind

Of your own

Dear heart,

You're broken now

Didn't I tell you not to fall?

After all, every fragile thing

Breaks when it has fallen

Dear heart,

Yet once you're mended

I know you'll repeat it

You'll catch feelings

I can't prevent it,

So I'll let you fall again,

Hoping that there'll be someone

To eventually catch you in the end.
